This is a spacious self-catering ground floor apartment with private garden and balcony. Ideal for families and small children as you can lock the gate. There is a pool (with disabled access) and an adjoining toddlers pool attached. The beach is only 10 mins walk away. It has is an attractive 7km tree-lined promenade with plenty of beach bars and restaurants for you to enjoy. The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 double and one with bunk beds and a single bed. The lounge is spacious and there is a well equipped kitchen area. Los Alcazares sits on the western shore of the Mar Menor which is a salt water lagoon separated from the Mediterranean by a 22km long strip known as La Manga. The area is ideal for both bathers and water sports enthusiasts alike and provides an ideal place for a family holiday. There are many golf courses within a short drive away including the famous La Manga Club. Alicante airport is 50 mins drive away and San Javier (Murcia) only 10 mins.

Notes on accommodation
Apartment is ideal for families with children due to ground floor location/lawn and lockable gate with easy access and visibility to the pool via the gate. Cots, highchairs etc. can be provided for hire on request. Communal pool consists of a large pool (with disabled access) and separate children's pool. N.B This is a non-smoking apartment.
Outside
Patio doors from apartment lead onto balcony and private walled/grassed garden leading directly onto pool area via a gate. Includes table and chairs and sunbeds.
Coast/Beach
Los Alcazares boasts 7km of tree-lined promenade connecting 7 beaches with beachside cafes and bars. The beach is a 10 min walk from the apartment. Ideal for children due to the calmness/depth of the sea.
Golf
Located 20 minutes south is the world renowned La Manga Club which houses 3 top class golf courses. Also within 20 minutes drive are a further 4 golf courses - Mosa Trajectum (near Murcia), Campoamor, Las Ramblas and Villamartin. A further 10 minutes drive away from these you can find La Marquesa at Ciudad Quesada and an excellent course at Algorfa (La Finca). Los Alcazares is currently developing two new golf courses which will be within 5 minutes drive.
Travel
Murcia airport (San Javier) is a 10 minute drive away, with low cost flights from Gatwick, Stansted, Southamton, Manchester, Liverpool and East Midlands. The modern city of Alicante is a 50 minute drive away. Car hire is not essential unless you wish to explore the local area. Car hire can be booked locally and picked up at Murcia airport.
Distances
The historic city of Murcia, is only 40 mins by car, and the naval port of Cartegena only 20 mins drive. Both well worth exploring for their shops, architecture and history. A 40 min drive north, takes you to Elches vast shopping complex and a further 10 mins takes you to Alicante.
Further details
There are several supermarkets and banks all within walking distance. Local restaurants offer a variety of food, from typically Spanish to Asian, Chinese and Indian, together with several English restaurants. The fertile countryside keeps the local markets well stocked with bundles of fresh produce, which take place on Tuesday and Saturdays.
