Cortijo Pastor oozes with character and is luxuriously appointed. It is in a peaceful location 2km off the main road, along a track which winds through olive and avocado plantations. The accommodation is spacious, featuring a superb lounge/dining area with a high vaulted beamed roof with all the bedrooms and kitchen leading off this main area at ground floor level. There is also a mezzanine gallery which leads out onto a roof terrace. The main bedroom, kitchen and lounge all lead out onto a large south-facing covered terrace where spectacular views of the coastline can be enjoyed and a great place to dine alfresco. The gardens and terraces are laid out on 3 levels. The 10x5m infinity pool has its own terraced area complete with sun loungers, parasol, BBQ, shaded eating area, toilet and shower and has a lockable gate for child-protection. There is an upper sun terrace overlooking the tennis court on the lowest level. Table tennis is provided within the covered terrace area.

Changeover day
Saturday changeover preferred. Arrivals after 3pm and departures by 10am during the high season. We may be able to be more flexible at other times.

Notes on accommodation
Property has under floor heating available for winter lets. Bedrooms have ceiling fans and all rooms have wooden shutters. There is also a double bed/settee available on the mezzanine floor if required. Cot and high chair provided if required. Complimentary welcome pack will be provided on arrival.

Outside
Gardens and terraces are laid out on 3 levels. The private swimming pool is 10x5m and is within its own secured area
for child-protection. This area has 8 sunloungers, a large parasol, gas BBQ, a shaded dining area with seating for 8, toilet and shower and lighting for evening entertaining.
Coast/Beach
The beaches of Nerja, which includes the well known Burriana beach, are a 15 mins drive away; and Torre del Mar which is a 25 mins drive boasts the longest promenade in Europe and provides many attractive 'chiringuitos' along its length for eating at.
Golf
Baviera Golf course (Caleta) is a 25 minute drive.
Skiing
Granada ski resort is a 2 hour drive.
Travel
Malage airport is a 1 hour drive and is served by an excellent motorway from the airport to the outskirts of Nerja. Due to its rural location car hire is essential.
Distances
Frigiliana, a picturesque white village situated on the edge of a gorge bordering the national park is a 10 min drive. The Nerja caves, a further 10 min drive away offers some of the best cave viewing to be had in Europe. Comares,30 min drive outside Torre del Mar,is one of the highest of the many white villages in the Axarquia region and offers views across to the Sierra Nevadas in the distance. The coastal road between Nerja and Salobrena offers fantastic scenery of the coastline.
Further details
Nerja provides an excellent range of shops and supermarkets and a great variety of restaurants and bars. Torre del Mar provides a large shopping mall close to the town centre with an excellent range of shops, bowling alley, cinemas and restaurants. Opposite this centre is a large aqua park. Torre has a modern tram serving a route from its centre to the shopping mall and on to Velez Malaga, a large town a short distance further inland.
Booking notes
25% deposit is required on confirmation of booking. Balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure together with a £200 breakage deposit which will be refunded the following day on departure from the cortijo.
