This fully equipped 2 bedroomed ground floor apartment with patio overlooks the landscaped pool area and the Seve Ballesteros designed Alhaurin Golf course. Situated some 5 mins drive away from the smaller Andalucian town of Alhaurin El Grande and 20 mins from the coast, this apartment is ideal for the independent holidaymaker who would like a scenic setting as a base to explore Andalucia or just laze around the pool and soak up the Costa Del Sol sun. The Hotel Alhaurin (with a horse riding school & restaurant), La Ventilla and La Balcon restaurant, the Golf Club House restaurant are all within a short scenic stroll through Alhaurin golf. There is a MiniMart 100 yds from the apartment. A car is a good idea to fully explore this spectacular area of Spain. The well known resorts of Marbella, Puerto Banus, Fuengirola, Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Malaga etc are no more than 20 mins away. For more adventurous, Gibraltar is about 60 mins, Ronda 90 mins, Granada and the Sierra Nevada’s 2hrs.

The apartment is cleaned & house linen & towels provided by our on site cleaning service ready for the start of the rental period.
Any additional cleaning, etc required during the rental period can be arranged and paid for locally on arrival.

Large patio with teak table & 4 chairs. Sun loungers. Communal pool and lawned area. A dedicated parking spot adjacent.

Coast/Beach
The well known resorts of Marbella, Puerto Banus, Fuengirola, Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Malaga, etc are no more than 20mins away. Gibraltar is about 60 mins.

Golf
Play a few rounds on the Seve Ballesteros designed Alhaurin Golf course only 200yds to the club house. In addition to the 18-hole round, the course has an 18 par-3 holes and 9 short holes, a golf school and driving area. For a change 10 mins drive away is Lauro Golf on the Malaga road & 2 fine courses at Mijas. Or in the general area: within 20 mins drive you can sample the full ranges of golf courses the Costa del Sol and inland Andalucia has to offer.

Travel
Malaga airport 20 mins drive (only 3 of which are on the N340). Car hire is recommended.

Distances
The town of Alhaurin el Grande is only 4Km away and this has all the typical facilities of a small friendly Spanish town, supermarkets, banks, shops, bars & restaurants.
Scenic Mijas and the larger administrative town of Coin is 10 mins away by car.
The spectacular gorge of Ronda is 90 mins, Granada the Alhambra & the Sierra Nevada’s 2hrs.

Further details
El Torca, Sierra de Las Nieves, Carratraca are all Nature Areas and well worth exploring as is Antequera, Alora and the Guadalhorce reservoirs. All these are within an easy hours scenic drive.
The Alhaurin Golf Hotel 10 mins walk has a horse riding school and the "come ride with me" stables are not far along the road to Alhaurin El Grande.

Booking notes
Contact us for a booking form via the web site, email, phone or fax. A £100 non refundable deposit which is deducted from the full rental and returned with the booking form secures the apartment. The balance is generally due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Full conditions are detailed on our web site.

Just a quick line to thank you and let you know we had a great time staying in your apartment, the photos on your web site don't do the apartment and the surrounding area justice, everything was top notch.
We got lost a little on our way from the airport but somehow managed to find it (think we took a wrong turn when leaving Malaga and ended up at Cartama).
The kids really loved it, my son made some friends which kept him occupied and he had his 10th Birthday while we were there and took him to Tivoli World, he thought it was great, we told him we would leave by midnight, but in fact it was 2:30am. ( I think we forgot to take down his Happy Birthday banner).
My daughter went horse trekking at Ride With Me and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I have spread the word to friends and at work since we got back, we would definitely consider coming back as there is lots to explore in the area.
