A perfect location in a 'Pueblo Blanco' for exploring the culture and countryside of Andalucia. Two outside areas, a cool patio under the shade of a aged olive tree with hardwood furniture bordered with bushes of lavender and thyme and a lower area for BBQs under lemon and apricot trees. An upper terrace area with patio furniture is to be found off the master bedroom. Registered with the Malaga Tourist Office as an accredited Vivienda Rural.

Changeover day
Usually Saturday but we will try to accommodate other days if necessary.

| Living Rooms: | Large living room with double doors opening on to lower terrace. Satellite TV, DVD player and woodburning stove (logs 12 euros per load). Good selection of fiction/non fiction books. |

Woodburner and additional oil-filled radiators. Firewood 12 euros per load.
Outside
Spacious ground floor terrace with herb garden, jasmine and lemon tree. Wooden patio furniture on main terrace includes large family table and six chairs. First floor terrace with wrought iron table and four chairs. Access to terrace by separate stairway from kitchen and also from en-suite bathroom.
Coast/Beach
Beaches on the Med. at San Pedro, Marbella and Puerto Banus about an hour's drive. Alternatively the Costa de Luz to the west offers miles of sandy beaches and coves.
Golf
There are several excellent golf courses within one hour's drive of Montejaque. The course at Antequera is about 30minutes away.
Special interest holidays
We can recommend excellent local riding stables that have proved a firm favourite with our guests.
Travel
The airports of Jerez, Malaga and Seville are all about one and a half hour's drive. We can assist with car hire recommendations and routes from the airport.
Distances
Montejaque has several restaurants and tapas bars and is ideally placed for visiting the imposing town of Ronda, a 15 minute drive, with its bullring, gorge, tapas bars and Michelin starred restaurants.
Further details
The area is ideal for those wishing to do some bird watching, trekking or mountaineering. We have close contacts with a local organisation specialising in small bird watching tours. The nearby village of Benoajan has a railway station from where you can reach Granada one way and Gibraltar, Algeciras the other. The line has recently been upgraded to allow journeys direct to Malaga.
