Close to both Begur town and the beaches of the Costa Brava, the villa has views of the sea and the Islas Medas to one side and across the Sa Riera valley to Begur’s medieval castle to the other. Begur town is within easy walking distance, offering a year round selection of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. The villa is perfect for sun and beach lovers during the summer and an ideal base for golfers during the rest of the year. The villa is modern and light and is very well appointed. It is reguarly used by the owners.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is used regularly by the owners, so the villa has an unusually personal feel and a high attention to quality and detail.
Modern furniture and style throughout.
Full central heating is available during the winter.
There are various children’s toys, easing the pressure on those travelling with kids! There are also games for adults. Access to the property is via a gravel driveway shared with only two other properties, so it is very safe for children to play.
The heated pool and garden are maintained throughout the year.
Outside
Swimming pool – a temporary fence surrounds the pool to provide safety for children. Large terrace area with garden furniture and sunbeds.
Shaded gravel eating area (under olive tree) also ideal for boules and table tennis (provided). Barbecue is portable. Double garage and ample outside parking for 3 cars.
Coast/Beach
Nearest beach is Sa Riera (under 5 minute drive; 20 minute walk). Aiguafreda, Aiguablava, Fornells, Sa Tuna, Tamariu all within 15 mins.
Golf
The Costa Brava is one of the leading golfing areas in Spain. There are 9 excellent course within driving distance of the villa, 5 of which are within 15/20 minutes (two within 5-10 mins).
Skiing
La Molina (www.lamolina.es) 2 hours drive
Travel
The nearest airports are Gerona (40 minutes), Perpignan (90 minutes) or Barcelona (90 minutes), all of which are served by low cost airlines. The same airlines also offer cheap car hire.

Further details
Las Islas Medas offer some of the best diving in Spain. Regular excursions depart from Estartit, 25 minutes drive away. There are numerous local diving clubs and schools that are 10/15 minutes away.
