Apartment Beatriz 2b is situated in Albir, a lovely seaside resort on the Costa Blanca, between the hustle and bustle of Benidorm and the quiet antiquity of the town of Altea. This 2 bedroom, fully self-contained apartment on the second floor (accessed by a lift) is in a small, quiet block, having its own large swimming pool within beautifully maintained Mediterranean gardens. Notes on prices
Prices are for the apartment per week in UK pounds. Minimum 2 week stay in July and August. Long winter lets by negotiation with owner. Summer prices include: use of electricity*, gas, cleaning of the apartment and bed linen and towels. There will be a small charge for electricity in winter. *For air conditioning/heating a small extra charge will be incurred - please ask for details.
Changeover day
Summer changeover day Saturday. In winter we can be more flexible to enable you to take advantage of cheaper flights. Check-out by 11am, check-in 5pm onwards.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is cool in summer, having air conditioning in both bedrooms, as well as ceiling fans in all rooms. It is warm and cosy in winter with heating provided. No pets please.

Accessibility
Please enquire for details of disabled/wheelchair access. It is possible to use the garage with direct access to the lift.

Large community swimming pool within beautifully maintained Mediterranean gardens which are locked and safe for children and have sunshine most of the day with cool shaded areas.
Coast/Beach
It is a 5 minute walk to beach.
Golf
There are a number of golf courses in the vicinity (a golf driving range is a few minutes walk from the apartment, as is the Tourist Inofrmation Office).
Travel
The nearest airport is Alicante which has excellent links by bus or, for your complete peace of mind, we can arrange a taxi (approx 45 mins). Car hire is very easy and cheap.
Further details
Beatriz 2b is ideally situated for all amenities, close to shops, supermarkets and restaurants, and is only a 5 minute walk to the beach. There is a bus service to Benidorm, Altea and the nearby market town of Alfaz del Pi. Markets: Alfaz - Friday, Altea - Tuesday, Benidorm - Sunday. The theme parks of Terra Mitica and Aqualandia are within 30 minutes drive and there are a number of golf courses in the vicinity. All water sports are catered for close by and if you want a little more excitement by day or by night, Benidorm is about 10 mins away by car, bus or taxi. The famous 'Lemon Express' small guage railway goes from nearby Altea to Denia in the north and Alicante in the south with magnificent coastal and mountain views en route. For keen walkers, there is the nearby Sierra Helada with other Sierras along the coast.
Booking notes
A non-returnable deposit of 20% is payable on booking, with the balance two months before arrival. A deposit against breakage and loss of £100 is required when the balance of the rent is paid. This will be returned to you on receipt of keys at the end of the holiday, after the final clean.
