Large, shaded terrace area with dining table and chairs, sun-loungers and barbecue. Terrace leads on to large lawned garden.
Coast/Beach
The house is only 10 minutes walk from the 4 Kms of sandy beach at Alcaidesa which has numerous beach bars and restaurants and where water sports are available in high season. The beautiful beaches of the Costa De La Luz are only a short drive if you wish to go a little further afield.
Golf
The house is built overlooking the Alcaidesa links golf course which is only a 10 minute walk away. Other prestigious courses at Valderama, Sotogrande, Duquesa and those around Malaga and Marbella are only a short drive away.
Travel
Only 8 kms from Gibraltar airport. Malaga is only an hour and a half away on the newly completed Euro road and Jerez airport is an hour and a half's drive to the north, again on an excellent new road.
To make the best of Alcaidesa's location, a hire car is strongly recommended.
Distances
8 Kilometers from historic Gibraltar, Alcaidesa is well placed for visits to Jerez, famous for its sherry. Also close are the Andalucian white villages such as Ronda and Gaucin that are well worth a visit. Ferry trips to North Africa are readily available from La Linea. For younger members of the family, there is a range of attractions including a water park, zoo, dolphin watching and Selwo adventure park.
Further details
Alcaidesa has several good reataurants in the small town centre and large supermarkets are available in La Linea only 15 minutes drive away. Gibraltar is easily accessible for good restaurants and duty free shopping with the Casino at San Roque less than 3 Kms away if you fancy a flutter. The marinas at Sotogrande and Duquesa have a variety of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes to suit all tastes.
Booking notes
Deposit of 25% on booking with balance to be paid 8 weeks before commencement of holiday. 100% deposit for late bookings made within 2 months of holiday start date. Breakages deposit of £150 added to holiday costs to be refunded on return subject to no damages. Long-term winter lets can be arranged, contact owners for details and rates.
