Changeover day
Weekly bookings are from Saturday to Saturday. However, flexibility from January to April 22nd and from October 7th to December 30th is often possible.
Arrival time is after 3.00pm please.
We ask guests to kindly vacate the apartment by 10.00am.

Accessibility
The apartment may be accessed by car so eliminating the use of the few steps outside.
Outside
Pretty landscaped Mediterranean gardens. Patio and sun terraces with patio furniture and loungers. Parasols. BBQ. Pool [8mx4m] for use of guests only. H&C outside shower. Beach games and parasols provided, also cool-box and childrens beach toys.
Coast/Beach
Within a short drive from Orba the visitor can relax on a tranquil, white sandy beach, take a walk among a beautiful wilderness or simply relax and absorb the wonderful Spanish lifestyle. Denia is only 20 mins away with its sandy beaches where all water sports can be found. Other Blue Flag beaches include Calpe, Moraira and Javea. These are all an easy drive.
Altea and Benidorm are approx. 40 mins drive, where the theme parks of Terra Mitica and Terra Natura are, as
is Aqualandia & Mundamar.
Golf
There are 3 excellent Golf Courses near to Orba. La Sella (Denia) and Oliva Nova (Oliva) are both 18 hole, Par 72. Both are approx 15 mins drive.
Don Cayo (Altea) has 9 holes. This is 25 mins away.
Skiing
In the Province of Teruel, North of Valencia, skiing is available during winter months. Teruel is approx. 2 hour drive from Orba.
Special interest holidays
The area is noted for walking holidays. There are many paths and trails to take you through picturesque, natural scenery -ideal for a leisurely stroll or the experienced walker.
Cycling is a popular activity and the area is used by international teams for training.
The picturesque scenery offers artists an abundance of vistas, especially in spring when cherry and almond blossom is showing.
All water sports are available . The beaches are all blue flag beaches. Miles of lovely sandy beaches just to enjoy !
Deep sea fishing and diving is centred in Denia.
Sailing, horse riding, tennis, go-karting and quads, abseiling are all popular activities in the area.
Travel
Orba is equi-distant from the airports of Alicante and Valencia. The journey takes about 1 hour. There is easy access to the motorways from each airport. Directions to the apartment will be provided on booking. Car hire is highly recommended.There are many interesting historical sites to visit as well as driving into the mountain villages of real Spain.
Distances
Orba village and restaurants is 8 mins easy walk. The village of Alcalali, has very reasonably priced good eating at its many restaurants - 10 mins drive.
The wine growing area of the Jalon Valley is approx 15 mins drive.
The beaches of Vergel, Oliva and Denia, 15-20 mins drive. Calpe, Javea and Moraira 30 mins drive.
The historic towns of Gandia and Xativa 45 mins drive. The historic mountain village of Guadalest and Algar waterfalls 1 hr. Valencia and Alicante enjoyable day trips.

Local amenities in Orba include- banks, bakeries, butchers, chemist, dentist, hairdressers, health and beauty spa, 24 hr medical centre, optician, supermarkets, newsagent and tobacconist. There are several restaurants and bars. During the year, Orba has many colourful fiestas. The surrounding villages and Orba feature a weekly market - the larger ones being Denia, Pego and Gandia. There is now a new shopping Mall in Ondara, a few kms away. Craft and Flea markets are held in Gata, Denia and Jalon. The Costa Blanca has miles of beautiful, clean beaches. The area is a mountainous region containing many glorious surprises with stunning scenery and friendly locals. The owners live permanently in the main villa and will be on hand should you need them.
Booking notes
A 20% non-returnable deposit is payable when the booking is made. The balance of 80% is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival date.
