Set in a secure gated frontline complex, this apartment enjoys a beach-front location with west-facing views for the afternoon and evening sun. There is a large communal pool with a grassy surround for sunbathers. Lifts and ramps are available for the disabled. There are many shops, bars and restaurants locally and the many quaint bars and restaurants in the old town just a few minutes walk away. The accommodation comfortably sleeps 4 or 5 people, and has above average quality fixtures and fittings. With a good sized balcony, 2 twin bedrooms, 1 bathroom en-suite, 1 shower room and toilet, a modern kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine, Sky Freeview TV and DVD player, you will be able to enjoy a luxurious holiday in this accommodation.

Other: Large patio doors leading to balcony with excellent sea view.
Sky freeview TV is available in this apartment. A safe has been installed.

Notes on accommodation
Sorry, no smoking indoors and no pets. Fuentes de Nerja is a well maintained, gated community with around 50% Spanish and Northern European full time residents. This means that it is not solely a holidaymaker location; people live in this community as well. This has the advantage of making it one of the best run communities in Nerja. It is always clean, tidy and peaceful and not seething with noisy revellers. If you want a busy nightlife with lots of action, then this apartment is not for you. Nerja is not a good resort for young revellers. I seek clients who will respect the accommodation and our neighbours. If you want a peaceful summer holiday with no noise at all then you should not book accommodation in a Spanish town. Spain comes to life in the long summer evenings and both the Spanish and the holiday makers enjoy good food, wine and conversation in the many local bars and restaurants.

Accessibility
There is lift and ramp access to both 1st floor apartments with just a 2 steps to negotiate along the entrance walkway.

Outside
This front-line apartment has a large pool with a grassed sunbathing area and has a magnificent sea view from the balcony. The complex is peaceful and well kept, and is renowned for being the best run complex in Nerja. Ideal for families and couples.

Coast/Beach
The apartment overlooks Torecilla beach. Nerja's many other beaches are within easy walking distance.

Golf
There is a superb golf course (just 10 mins away by car) at Torre Del Mar called Baviera golf. Visit www.bavieragolf.com for more details. It enjoys excellent coastal views, is always in superb condition and has some very challenging holes. You will love playing this course and costs during the summer are around 70 euros for buggy and 2 players. There are many other great courses in the area making it ideal for golf parties. Baviera 10 mins. Los Mariscos 35 mins. Anoreta 35 mins.

Skiing
Ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada are approximately 1.5 hours from the apartment.

Travel
I don't recommend a car hire company but there are many available from the airport or locally. Goldcar are very reasonably priced and operate from the airport. We can arrange a taxi from the airport for 70 euros. Buses also available from airport to Nerja for just 5 euro. No railway in the area.

Distances
Even though there is plenty to do and see in Nerja and you don't need to leave the town, there are also other places of interest further a field that are easily accessible by car for the more adventurous. For example - the famous caves of Nerja 5 mins, whitewashed villages of Frigliana and Maro 10 mins. The stunning Lake Vinuela 35 mins, Granada and the Alhambra Palace approx 1 hour, Marbella/Puerta Banus with their posh boutiques and trendy bars 80 mins.

Further details
This apartment complex enjoys a magnificent swimming pool and is just 50 yards from 2 clean and safe beaches. There is an abundance of good bars and restaurants within walking distance as well as some excellent shopping. Walking to Nerja town centre takes 4 minutes.
Parking: There are several municipal car parks and lots of on-street parking close the apartment. However, on-street parking spaces can be difficult to find during the summer months.
There is one secure parking space in the underground car park available on a first come, first served basis. Please ask for details with your booking enquiry.

‘Just wanted to let you know what a beautiful apartment you have - the pictures do it justice! We have never stayed in an apartment of such high standard - you have literally thought of everything. When we arrived it was quite late and we were so glad of the tea/coffee/sugar and milk available as we could not find an open shop - so to have them there was a blessing after our journey! We obviously replaced what we used but were amazed that it was there in the first place - a very thoughtful gesture. Charmaine at Invercasa was a very helpful and lovely person to us - we thank her for that. Nerja is a beautiful area and the apartment is in a great place.
