Outside
Balcony with table and chairs. Great view over mountains. Large swimming pool, private for guests of Mar D'or with sun loungers on garden area, well maintained by caretaker.
Coast/Beach
Beach is 10 minutes walk, long sandy beach with lovely promenade to perambulate along at night time. Often bands and entertainment on beach in summer months.
Golf
There are 11 superb championship golf courses in the area, Emporda, PGA Catalunya to name but two of all of an excellent standard to test most club golfers.
Skiing
New roads have been constructed leading to the Pyrenees and Andora ski resorts making the journey to the ski lifts only 1 1/2 hours from l'Estartit.
Travel
The nearest airport is Gerona which is approx 45minutes drive, also Barcelona airport which is approx 1 1/2 hours drive. Perpignan in France is also within 1 1/4 hrs distance from L'Estartit. Airport transfers available on request.
Car hire is not essential with apartment.
Distances
Town centre is approx 10 minutes walk, places of interest Medieval villages such as Pals, Peratillada, Ullastret and centres of culture such as Dali Museum at Figures or the Roman ruins at nearby Empuries.
Further details
Nearest supermarket and passtiere in 2/3 minutes walk, cash point also there. Entertainment for children etc 2/3 mins walking. Restaurants 2/3 mins walking distance plus take away pizzas and chicken etc. L'Estartit is the leading diving centre to the Costa Brava. Great for cycling as road are flat. Lovely harbour with boat trips.
