This 45-square-meter completely renovated apartment, is located in the Old Town on a small, picturesque street 2 blocks from 'Las Ramblas' (Calle Roig) just behind the famous food market of 'La Boqueria'. The surrounding area is home to popular museums like the Contemporary Art Museum (MACBA) and the 'Picasso Museum', as well as new and interesting art galleries. This vibrant and trendy neighborhood is a place where you’ll find multicultural street fairs, Bohemian boutiques and the hippest bars and clubs. Gaudí, the most celebrated architect in Spain, constructed his first major project, Palau Güell, just one block away. 5 mins further on you come to 'El Barrio Gotico' (the Gothic district) with the Cathedral and Plaza Real (Royal Square) plus a number of amazing buildings as well as restaurants, cafés, bars and shops. The apartment is air-conditioned (and air-heated) and it is perfectly suitable for either singles and couples.

Notes on prices
Prices are all-inclusive. Discounts: 10% for weekly, 20% biweekly stay. At Easter, Christmas, and mid August holidays prices will be set at a minimum of 100 euros per day, regardless of the number of occupants. Last minute discount available. Ask the owner.
Changeover day
Flexible, but if changeover on the day is required, then 12 am. check out.

Notes on accommodation
Barcelona airport approx 20 mins by taxi (20 euros), 30 mins by shuttle bus to Plaza Catalunya (3.90 euros). From there you can reach the flat by a 10 minutes walking or by taxi (5-7 euros). Gerona airport 1 hour and 15 min by bus to Estacion de Norte, from there take metro (Arc de Trionf) to Universitat or a taxi (5-6 euros).
Coast/Beach
The beach is at only 10/15 minutes, by bus or metro.
Distances
Two metro stops are very close to the apartment: 'Liceu' (L3), on the Rambla, and 'Universitat' (L1 and L2). Barcelona's easy-to-use metro puts any part of the city within reach.
Booking notes
Minimun stay: 4 nights. A 30% booking deposit is required in advance with bank transfer or credit/debit card via Paypal.
Balance will be paid on arrival, cash. A security deposit of 150 euros (cash) is required to secure against loss or damages (it will be returned before leaving).
