Changeover day
Saturday is normal change over date . Property to be vacated by 10am on morning of departure. Access from 4pm on day of arrival . Minimum booking is 7 days.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is accessed by steps from the drive; living area of villa is on one level. Upper garden terrace is accessed by steps. Parents of very young children should be aware that the pool and garden area have minimal fencing and close supervision is advised.
All french windows, patio doors and lounge windows are fitted with electrically operated shutters.

Pyrenees can be reached in 1 to 2 hours.
Travel
Gerona airport 45 mins drive
Barcelona airport 1 hour 30 mins.
Perpignan airport 1 hour 50 mins.
Ryanair and Easyjet offer relatively cheap flights to these airports.
Use of a car is essential.
Distances
The villa is 5 mins from Begur an upmarket hilltop village offering old-world charm, stylish restaurants and bars crowned by an old castle. The historical city of Girona and Barcelona are both an easy day trip away.
Further details
The area is immersed in a rich Catalan culture and includes the Graeco-Roman ruins of Empuries and the Dali museum in Figueras.
Watersports are well catered for around Begur's cape and divers flock just north to the stunning Medes islets marine reserve. There is a clutch of excellent golf courses in the area and enchanting coastal paths for walkers.
Booking notes
Booking is direct with owner with a 30% non-returnable deposit required at time of booking and full balance to be paid 6 weeks before the holiday starts. A fully refundable breakage/key deposit of £200 is payable with the full balance.
Keys to be collected from the local agent. All directions/ instructions will be issued on reciept of final payment.
