This new 2 bedroom 2 bathroom detached villa is situated on the prestigious Mar Menor Golf Resort. It boasts gated community with 24 hour security and is ideally situated within easy reach of the beautiful Mar Menor beaches. On the resort and approx 500m from the villa is a communal pool, bars and restaurants and a well stocked supermarket for all your essential items. The golf course is an 18 hole of championship standard. There are a number of other golf courses which are in close proximity. The historic city of Murcia is only 20 mins away with the local airport of San Javier a 10 min drive. Alicante airport is about a 50 mins drive.

Changeover day
We are as flexible as we are able to be but during the busy months or where departure and new arrival occurs on the same day the following apply:
Departure - villa must be vacated by 12:00 noon
Arrival - villa will be available from 16:00

Notes on accommodation
The villa is new and is furnished to a very high standard. It enjoys gas fired central heating with radiators throughout for the cooler winter months and air-conditioning in the lounge/diner area for those hot evenings.
Outside
Large undercover patio with glass dining table and chairs to seat 6. There are stairs to the large sun terrace which enjoys some golf views. There are a couple of sun loungers for your use.
Coast/Beach
The Mar Menor, Europe's largest lagoon, is home to some lovely beaches and is only a 5 mins drive away. It's also close to Los Alcazares which is one of the most popular areas where you will find a large selection of places to eat and bars to enjoy a drink as you watch the sun set.
Golf
Mar Menor Golf Resort is an 18 hole course designed by Dave Thomas, the club house is just 15 minutes walk away where you can book your round and buggy if required. Within 30 minutes of the resort you will find many more top quality courses each with their own independent character and challenges. In addition to these golf courses, the world famous La Manga Club is less then 30 mins away, as are the golf courses of Campoamor, Las Ramblas, Villamartin and the championship course at La Finca.
Please note that a handicap certificate is usually required but not always.
Skiing
The Sierra Nevarda mountain range are only about 2.5 hours away (driving times will reduce once the new motorway is completed) so the resort could be used as a base for a skiing trip.
Travel
San Javier airport (Murcia) 10 min 4 miles. Alicante airport 50 min 65 miles. Car would be an advantage but not essential as transfers to and from airport can be arranged.

Los Alcazares 2 miles. La Manga Club 12 miles. Cartagena 12 miles. Murcia 30 miles.
Further details
The resort has a well stocked supermarket. There are many excellent restaurants close by with various supermarkets, hypermarkets near the resort, easy access to local banks in Torre Pacheco and Los Alcazares, also a large shopping centre in San Javier with cinema, bowling and places to eat. Cartagena is a beautiful Roman Naval port with a rich history and stunning architecture, the Marina is a must for a relaxing drink whilst watching the boats come and go.
Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required at the time of booking. This will be used as a security deposit and returned in full, providing everything is in order after departure and keys and pass (if applicable) are returned. Payment is required in full 6 weeks prior to your stay (or by special arrangement if circumstances dictate). Please also note there is a cleaning charge of €55 payable on departure directly to the cleaner.

We would consider a house swap for a 3 bedroom villa in the Los Alcázares area only.
