Casa Cerretillo, available for self-catering (3 bedrooms) is a traditional 'white' house that has recently been refurbished to a very high standard retaining the simplicity and the Moorish influence of the region. Set at 850m high on 'El Cerretillo' overlooking the very Spanish village of Algarinejo and surrounded by olive hills, Casa Cerretillo has many almond trees! The house has an exclusive patio for guests for relaxing and dining as well as use of a separate lounge and dining room for the cooler evenings. The area is perfect for walking, cycling, wildlife watching and painting. Beautiful public swimming pool just minutes away with bar/restaurant.

Changeover day
Flexible. However normally our guests arrive after 4pm and check out before 11am. If you have different requirements, please let us know.
Notes on accommodation
The whole house is temperature controlled using the energy saving heat-pump and fan-coil system which provides a 'natural' room temperature
Plentiful hot water is provided by our solar panels.
We can provide a cot or extra bed if required.
Stereo & TV (DVD only)
Hairdryer available on request.
Towels and sheets are changed twice weekly.
One basket of wood is provided (additional basket available at an extra charge)
Accessibility
The approach the the property is a sloping driveway and the Azul room is at ground floor level with one step from the patio area and the room can be arranged to suit wheelchair access. There is toilet and shower room also at ground level (though not en-suite - access is through the dining room). Dining room is accessed from the patio area and there is one step.
Outside
We have a beautiful south facing enclosed patio with seating for dining and relaxing and intimate views of the olive hills across the valley. Perfect for sun-bathing or relaxing with a good book. Beautiful views for painting or wildlife watching.
Through the gate heads straight out into the olive and almond groves.
Coast/Beach
The coast is 90mins away.
Lakeside beach 30mins away.
Skiing
The Sierra Nevada resort opens from December to May and caters for all ages and abilities. It is a 1 hour and 20 mins drive from Casa Cerretillo.

Granada Airport is 50 mins drive.
Malaga Airport is 90 mins drive.
Car hire is essential.

Further details
Algarinejo has just introduced many rural walks which are lovely ways to explore the undiscovered countryside.
The area is ideal for walking, cycling, birdwatching, painting and generally unwinding. Iznajar lakeside is 20mins away.
Algarinejo has a beautiful municipal pool with bar and cafe open every day in July and August.

We require 50% deposit via PayPal on booking and final 50% payment for accommodation on arrival.
