Los Algarrobos is a unique villa which oozes character. It is set in it's own very private and peaceful grounds with numerous wonderfully secluded sitting areas. The orchard provides guests with the opportunity to pick a variety of fruits. The 10m x5m floodlit pool, the covered BBQ area and the well equipped garden kitchen add to the luxury of this villa. Inside, the villa itself is very spacious with a large living area and a fully modernised kitchen. Air-conditioning in the bedrooms. The wood burning fire in the lounge compliments the central heating making Los Algarrobos a wonderful winter retreat. The villa is situated in one of the most popular areas of Moraira. The nearest beach is only 2 minutes drive away (10 minutes walk) and the location is ideal for shops, supermarkets and visiting the many places of interest.

During peak season the changeover day is Saturday. The villa should be vacated by 10am on day of departure. Arrivals after 4pm.

Notes on accommodation
Los Algarrobos is well suited to two families wanting to holliday together as it offers a certain amount of privacy for the couples with the two spacious master bedrooms being en suite. All bedrooms are equipped with hairdryers, tea making facilties and fans. At night the foodlit pool transforms the garden and makes night time swims a truly magical experience. We have many repeat bookings from satisfied clients.

Outside
Los Algarrobos is a large attractive villa set in it's own private, luxurious grounds. The garden has a 10m x 5m pool overlooking a small orchard and there are a variety of sitting areas including a large, covered BBQ area with it's own sink and fridge. To make catering easier in the summer the villa boasts a purpose built garden kitchen which is equipped with a sink, oven,dishwasher, microwave and fridge. There are also 2 outside showers and 8 sun loungers. An electric gate ensures secure parking for approximately 3 to 4 cars and the carport offers plenty of shade in the summer.

Coast/Beach
Two minute drive to the nearest beach (10 minute walk). The main Moraira beach is sandy and 5 minutes away. The whole coast line offers a number of small coves and isolated beaches awaiting your discovery.

Golf
This area is a mecca for golfers, boasting a large number of courses within a short driving distance and one within walking distance. Two new championship courses at Terra Mitica are only a 40 minute drive away.

Travel
The nearest airport is Alicante (45mins) with further options at Valencia (70 mins), Murcia (2hrs) and (Reus 3hrs). A hire car is highly recommended.

Distances
The villa is situated within a 20 minute walk from the centre of Moraira providing ample choice of restaurants. Popular excursions are to Calpe (20mns) for the fish restaurants, Benidorm (45mins) for the night life, Guadalest (45mins) pretty mountain village and the Jalon valley.

Further details
This area offers a rich variety of interests which cater for everyone's tastes. Each surrounding town has a weekly market as well as numerous Fiestas throughout the year. The Rastro (flea market) in Jalon is an interesting weekly event. The theme parks Terra Mitica and Aqualandia are only a 40 minute drive away and for those interested in night life Benidorm Palace offers some of the finest entertainment available. Water sports are well catered for with a Five Star Padi dive centre offering diving courses for all levels. The Moraira sailing school hires a variety of boats for those interested in sailing. Other activies available in the area include horse riding, go-carting and tennis.

Booking notes
After initial booking a 25% deposit is required to confirm booking. The balance is due 6 weeks before travel. We also ask for a refundable deposit of £100 to cover any breakages.

About the owner
My wife and I live in Bury Lancashire and have both taken early retirement in order to enjoy life to the full. We are blessed with two daughters and son-in-laws who have at the time of writing provided us with 3.3 grandchildren. The villa in Moraira (S3486) and the apartment in Calpe (S3245) are our homes for most of the winter and we spend much of our time there ensuring that they are in prime condition for our guests.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We first fell in love with Moraira over 12 years ago when we bought a small property in the area.We find the people very friendly and due to the cosmopolitan nature of the residents there is a vast and diverse choice of restaurants. Due to there only being a small number of hotels, Moraira has managed to retain it's village -type atmosphere while, at the same time, offering lots of activities and places of interest to visit. Despite the fact that we have been there several years we continue to discover new beaches,coves and fascinating mountain villages where the Spanish way of life has remained unchanged.

Unique benefits of the property
One of the best things about the villa is the fact that all the family can come and stay and that we have a child friendly environment for our grandchildren to enjoy. We also take immense pleasure in our garden and enjoy the peace and seclusion of the different seating areas.Our guests love being able to pick their own fruit from a selection of fig, orange, olive, grapefruit, pomegranate, pear and lime trees. And what better way to enjoy your pre-dinner drink than by picking a fresh lemon to enhance your gin and tonic. A night-time BBQ or paella prepared in the spacious outdoor kitchen makes a pleasant prelude to the final swim in the floodlit pool.
