Notes on accommodation
The villa is fully prepared for your arrival and a welcome pack of groceries can be arranged if required.
Travel cots/highchairs etc can be sourced and are payable locally.
Aircon is available via a coin operated system, as well as FOC portable fans and heaters.
Sorry, no pets allowed and no smoking inside the villas.
Interim cleans can be arranged through our managing agent - a local charge will apply.
Outside
Lovely secluded swimming pool which is cleaned several times a week - approx 8m x 4m with corner steps - for use of our guests only. Private grounds with a gated entrance. Patio areas with sun loungers and roof terraces with lovely views over the valley and which are perfect for an evening BBQ. Each villa also has a set of garden furniture on the balcony for al fresco dining. Plenty of parking alongside villas.
Coast/Beach
The villas are a 10 minute drive to a 7km strip of white sandy beach at Guardamar. The promenade has plenty of good restaurants, ice cream parlours and childrens play areas.
The whole coast has several beautiful other beaches to explore and the inland sea at Mar Menor has superb water sports and sailing facilities.
Golf
The villas are approached alongside the fairway of La Marquesa golf course which also has excellent Country Club facilities. Several other top quality courses in the area including Villa Martin, Campamoar and La Manga are no more than 45 minutes away.
Handicap certificates are required.
Special interest holidays
The accommodation available at Brava Villas allows large groups and families to share private facilities for an independent holiday.
Travel
Both Alicante and Murcia airports are a 30 minute drive and directions are provided to all guests before departure. We strongly recommend car hire from the airport. Our managing agents welcome guests to the villas and can arrange transfers to/from the airports if required for a local charge of approx 60 euros.
Distances
Local parade - few minutes walk to supermarket and a few restaurants. Aquapark - 5 mins drive, reasonable prices and few queues!
Quesada - 5 mins drive. Restaurants, bars, shops, banks, pharmacy, petrol station, internet cafe, post office. Torrevieja - 15 mins drive. Marina, market and fairground, plus Habaneres Shopping centre - brand names, bargain prices.
Alicante - 30 minutes drive. Chic city and marina.
Murcia/Cartagena/Elche - historical cities to explore.
Further details
The area is famous for its salt lakes. These help provide a healthy climate, as well as natural beauty with flamingoes and other wild birds in residence.
Booking notes
A 20% deposit is required to secure a booking with the balance payble 6 weeks before departure. Additional cleaning/services can be arranged for a fee.
Guest comments
The villas are a lovely oasis away from the hustle of city life, although they are close enough to plenty of local facilities. Great to relax and soak up sun by the pool.
