Flexible bookings, outside of July/August, are charged at daily rate. Discounts offered for long winter lets. Price for Winter lets includes reasonable use of central heating system but does not include a weekly laundry service. This service is available but at the clients expense.

Changeover day
Changeover days are normally Saturdays however, this can be flexible out of the peak summer months. The villa must be vacated by 10am to enable to the cleaning staff to clean the villa for the next booking. Arrival times no earlier than 4pm.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, ceiling fan and full en-suite. 2 windows with spectacular sea view.
Bedroom 2 has twin beds and ceiling fan and 2 windows with sea views.
Bedroom 3 has a double bed, ceiling fan and spectacular sea views from 2 windows.
Bathrooms: Guest WC and sink to main hallway.
En-suite bathroom to bedroom 1 with thermostatically controlled large walk in shower, sink and WC.
Lower bathroom services bedroom 2 and 3 with thermostatically controlled large walk-in shower, sink and WC.
Kitchen: The kitchen is very modern and fully fitted. It has a granite work top.It also has cooker, hob, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. A separate freezer exists on the lower hallway.
Living Rooms: The lounge gives way to a dining area on one side and an open American style kitchen with breakfast bar on the other.
The lounge area has a very comfortable large L shaped couch.
There's a TV, video, DVD player and wide selection of Videos and DVDs.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
A meet and greet service is provided on arrival as is a welcome pack including food wine etc. Towels and linen are included as is weekly laundry. Beach towels are not provided. We provide a hair dryer.

 

Notes on accommodation
The Villa has oil fired central heating which is extremely efficient. There is also a log burning stove in the Living Room which is very easy to use and provides wonderful heat and adds a cozy feel. Because of the elevated position of the villa it benefits from pleasant breezes from the sea which are most welcome during the Summer months. In the Winter months it is cosy and well served by the Central Heating and the Log Burning fire. For the safety of small children we have installed lockable gates to prevent access to pool and pool steps and also to the stairwell. However, the villa is situated on an elevated plot and may not be suitable for children under 12 years old. Pictures of every aspect of the villa can be obtained via a digital photo album which can be emailed directly to you.

Outside
Casa Lucia has a garden to the side and 3 patios/terraces. The pool area and terraces are not overlooked and afford maximum privacy. There is a covered Naya (outdoor terrace) just outside the lounge/kitchen area which is ideal for dining al fresco or just relaxing and enjoying the spectacular views over the Med. There is a dining table and chairs in this area as well as reclining chairs. There are sun loungers, reclining chairs, single chairs and lounging chairs on the pool terrace. There is an outdoor kitchen offering a sink with hot and cold running water, a BBQ and paella gas ring. There is a dining area with a luxury table and chairs here also and again there are wonderful views of the coastline from this dining terrace. The pool is 10m x 5m and can be illuminated at night. The views from the pool terrace and the pool itself are wonderful. There is total privacy on the pool terrace. We have off road parking.

Coast/Beach
The main Javea beach and promenade is a 10 mins drive. A long sandy beach bounded with numerous shops, restaurants and cafes. The port area is also within easy reach and again has many shops, bars and restaurants. The beautiful Granadella beach is in the next cove and is about 5 mins by car. This is a beautiful place to relax or swim and have a meal or snack. Moraria, Calpe and Denia are within easy reach

Golf
The Javea golf course is 15 mins drive away from the villa.
Other golf courses within easy reach are Ifach Golf near Calpe and La Sella Golf Course near Jesus Probe.
Further afield there are a number of courses in Benidorm and Alicante. Also a number of pitch and putt sites exist.

Skiing
Two ski resorts, within drivable distance, exist during the winter months, one just north of Valencia, 90 mins drive. The other in the south of Spain at Grenada approximately 4.5 hours drive.

Travel
Javea is roughly equidistant from Valencia to the north and Alicante to the south. Its takes approx 80 mins from Valencia and 65 mins from Alicante to drive. San Javier airport in Murcia is approx. 2 hours drive. Car hire is essential.

Distances
Moraira, a beautiful fishing village, is approx 15 mins by car. Calpe with wonderful beaches and restaurants is approx 25 mins by car. Denia is 20 mins north. Benidorm, 30 mins drive away, despite its reputation is an active place to visit offering great beaches, boat excursions, Theme Parks and Water Parks, Shopping and all manner of other activities. It also provides excellent night time entertainment. Javea is approx 80 mins on the motorway from Valencia a beautiful Spanish city to enoy.

Further details
There is a Mini-Market within walking distance of the villa (approx 20 mins). Saladar Supermarket is approx 2 miles from the villa and has everything necessary. Mercadona Supermarket is located in Javea and is ideal for big shopping. Numerous banks exist 5 mins drive.
The whole area is vibrant with top quality restaurants. The nearest being 0.6 miles away, the best being 0.8 miles. There are a number of excellent restaurants in the immediate area.Without leaving the Costa Nova area you will find several top quality restaurants catering for quality and value for money. We leave full details of these restaurants in the Villa.For a larger choice you can travel into Javea. You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out. Every taste is catered for and the quality of food and value for money is exceptional. Yacht charter, golf, jet skiing, scuba diving, horse riding, tennis, angling and beautiful scenic walks are all in plentiful supply. There are also some beautiful picnic areas, playgrounds and parks in the area. The Montgo Mountain area is a Nature Reserve and has many walks,treks and spectacular scenery.

Booking notes
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure any booking. The balance to be paid eight weeks before the booking starts. In addition to the balance a £150 per week security deposit is also asked for which will be returned within 10 days of your arrival home subject to no serious damage occurring at the villa during your stay.
