Notes on accommodation
This is a spacious townhouse, which offers 3 bedrooms, 2 upstairs with the main bathroom, and one on the ground floor with another shower room. There is a separate kitchen and an open plan living/dining room. There is also a large outdoor dining area, and a solarium. The house is on a small private complex, and the communal pool is only feet from the house. This property is suitable for families, couples or friends. It is in an ideal location for those that want a relaxing break, or for the golfers the location is fantastic with 8 excellent courses all within a 30 min drive.
Coast/Beach
The apartment is less than 800m from a beautiful beach. It is in fact a salt water lagoon separated from the Mediterranean by a 22km long strip known as La Manga Strip. The beach is great for families, the lagoon is known as the Mar Menor and remains calm and shallow year round. Along the promenade are several beach huts serving drinks, lunch and dinner.
Golf
There are in excess of 9 golf courses within a 30 min drive from the apartment. With 2 under construction less than 5 mins away. 25 mins to the south is the world famous La Manga golf resort, and within 20 mins to the north you will find, Los Ramblas, Campoamor and Villamartin Golf Courses. The region is also home to Mosa Trajectum golf course, which hosts the annual PGA Euro Pro tour championship finals.
Travel
The closest airport is Murcia/San Javier, which is a 5 min drive from the apartment. Alicante airport is approx 35 mins.
Distances
The historic towns of Cartagena and Alicante are both within an hour's drive from Los Alcazares. A car is not essential, as the beach, numerous bars, excellent restaurants and shops are all within a 10 min walk from the apartment.
Further details
This area enjoys an average of 320 days of sunshine each year. Boasting several bars, cafes and restaurants, along with the warm water of the Mar Menor helps make the town a paradise for couples, families and golf enthusiasts. The mineral-rich water of the Mar Menor is revered for its health-giving properties and the town still has thermal baths which have existed since Roman times. There is also a very large market in Los Narejos every Saturday, which is an easy walk from the apartment. On Tuesdays, Los Alcazares has its own market, selling a wide range of items. Further information on recommended restaurants, golf courses, places of interests etc. are available in the apartment, but please feel free to email me, should you want any further information beforehand.

A deposit of £110 is required in order to secure the booking, and full payment in Sterling is required 6 weeks in advance of arrival.
