Affordable, spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment (sleeps 7) Completed in 2005 with air cond/htg units,balcony, lifts communal pool and roof terrace. 5 mins walk to centre of Almoradi and close to shops, cafes, bars, restaurants etc. 10 mins drive to Guardamar's long, sandy beach and local golf courses. 5 mins from motorway AP-7 with journey times of 30/40 mins from Alicante and Murcia airports respectively.

Generous sized fitted wardrobes.
Bathrooms: En suite to bedroom 1 includes bath, shower, wc, bidet, large basin and mirror/shelf/light unit.
Shared bathroom is the same.
Kitchen: Separate, spacious, fitted kitchen. Cupboards, granite work surface, oven, hob, extractor fan, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, teapot, table & chairs. Well stocked with crockery, cutlery, pans etc. Floor standing fan.
Utility Room: Washing machine, ironing board, iron, clothes airer, cleaning equipment and a barbecue which may be used on the roof terrace. Washing basket and pegs provided - communal clothes lines available on roof.
Living Rooms: Spacious lounge/diner has air con./htg unit, ceiling fan, dining table and chairs, coffee table, cupboards, sofa bed, 2 armchairs, TV, DVD and radio/cassette/CD player. French windows lead to a balcony with table and chairs. Large selection of DVDs.
Other: A long entrance hall provides additional storage space for luggage. A door entry phone is located here, which enables entry to the main building. Detailed info of Almoradi's cafes, bars, restaurants, parks etc are available + info on surrounding areas.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Bed linen and towels are provided but please bring beach towels. All is prepared by a local keyholder who will meet and greet you. Extra linen changes possible and chargeable locally. Airport transfers, car hire, groceries arranged at additional cost.

 

Notes on accommodation
We regret that, for the comfort and well being of all customers and to maintain the quality of the accommodation, smoking and pets are not allowed in the apartment. Cots and high chairs can be provided with prior notice, hire charges on request. The apartment is on the top (third) floor and there are 2 lifts.

Outside
There is a communal pool with sun bathing terrace and showers. The large communal roof terrace can be used for sun bathing and barbecues. Sun beds are provided.

Coast/Beach
Nearest is the white, sandy beach of Guardamar which can be reached in about 10 mins by car. A little further there are many more sandy beaches with sand dunes and pine trees providing shade. Many are blue flag beaches, some have lifeguards and there are also some naturist beaches.

Golf
Many courses in this area between 10 - 30 mins drive, including La Finca, Villamartin, Las Ramblas, Campoamor and many more.

Travel
Almoradi is close to the AP-7 motorway enabling easy airport access - 30 mins to Alicante (toll free) and 40 mins to Murcia (San Javier)(a couple of tolls - around 3 euros each). Whilst staying in Almoradi most services offered by a small town are within 5 - 10 mins walk. To venture further afield a hire car is preferable although there are bus services from the main square. Hi vis vests (a legal requirement) can be borrowed from the apartment.

Distances
Car journey times from Almoradi are in the order of 20 mins to Torrevieja centre/ 15mins to Habeneras commercial centre. Elche, a large, busy town with largest palm forest in Europe, 20 mins. The historical cities of Alicante, Murcia and Cartagena, the Mar Menor and La Manga can all be reached in 35 - 60 mins. Benidorm takes about 1 hour 15 mins.

Further details
Located on the northern side of the Segura river, Almoradi is a typical Spanish town, offering a taste of the real Spain, retaining much of it's culture and tradition. Not to be missed the Santo Semana at Easter and the Moors & Christians Fiesta at the end of July. The World Health Organisation rates this area as one of the healthiest places in the world to live due to the weather and the nearby salt lakes.
The apartment is a five minute walk from the centre of town, with it’s impressive church and plaza, a busy meeting place in the evening. The town is open all year, not just the holiday season! There are restaurants, bars, disco, banks, doctors, dentists, pharmacies, bakers, butchers, shops, take aways, municipal pool, gym, taxis, supermarkets (one English) etc. all within walking distance. Almoradi is famous for its furniture making and of course there are many furniture shops. There are many fiestas throughout the year and a large market every Saturday.
For more shopping and entertainment, the new Habeneras shopping centre in Torrevieja is 15 minutes away. In this location can also be found other large retail outlets, hypermarket, restaurants, bars, aqua park, cinema, bowling, casino and the famous Pacha night club which opens from around midnight until nine o'clock in the morning. Further on into the centre of Torrevieja are many more shops, restaurants and bars and on Friday is the famous huge street market. On the sea front promenade there is a large funfair, craft market and “bar street” with bars and pubs that open well into the early hours. There are also a couple of go karting tracks about 20 minutes away and another aqua park at Quesda, 10 mins away.
