The apartment is situated in the village of Mar de Cristal on the Mar Menor, which is an inland sea and has no tides, making it particularly safe for children to swim in. The beach is a 10 min stroll away with a promenade with bars, restaurants and a marina where sailing trips are available. Mar De Cristal has a well stocked supermarket and a few shops. The village of Los Belones is just 5 mins drive, with many more shops and restaurants. The famous La Manga golf complex is 5 mins by car, where you will find lots to do ie, golf, horse riding, swimming, tennis, cycling, beauty treatment and excellent bars and restaurants. Go Kart racing, scuba diving, Sunday market and fishing trips available at Cabo de Palos 5 mins by car. Catch a train from Los Nietos village 5 mins by car or 15 mins walk to go to the port of Cartagena, where you will find lots of Spanish culture with bars, shops and restaurants.

Coast/Beach
About 10 mins stroll to the beach of the Mar Menor (inland sea) with no tides, because of this it makes this an ideal location for young children and on average is 5 degrees C warmer then the Med.

La Manga Golf Complex 5 mins by car, with approx 5 more courses within 45 mins.
Skiing
About 3 hours drive, just south of Granada at Sierra Nevada with some of the best skiing in Europe.
Travel
Murcia (San Javier) Airport 30 mins. Alicante Airport 60 mins. Airport transfers can be arranged. Car hire not essential but recommended.
Distances
Los Belones 5 mins drive. Los Neitos 5 mins drive. Cartegena 20 mins by train.

La Manga Club is great for children and families, particular favourites include the sport and dance academies, crazy golf, splashing in pool. Children are welcome at almost all the restaurants, bars and offer special children's menus, with 25 restaurants to choose from. They is also a mini club and child care at La Manga Club. Discotheque and casino.
Booking notes
To secure your booking a £60 deposit/damage waver to be sent, which will be returned to you after the holiday less any costs of damage. The full amount to be paid 6 weeks before departure.
