Delightful, bright, sunny, 3 bedroom/3 bathroom house in Caleta de Velez, a quiet unspoilt fishing village, with 5km of sandy beach. A private outside parking space is at the front door, which is at ground floor level. The house is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with breathtaking views of the marina, fishing harbour and Torre del Mar's sweeping bay. The secure garden area and close proximity of the swimming pools make this ideal family accommodation. The communal tennis court is also available for use by guests. The house is only 2 minutes stroll to the beach, marina, local shops, bars and over 40 restaurants are within a 20 minute walk. Caleta's Baviera Golf course is a driver and a five iron away. The beach resort of Torre del Mar is within walking distance along a beach promenade and the lively resort of Nerja is just a 15 minute drive. Take the short tram ride to Velez-Malaga and explore this fascinating town with its Moorish fortress and numerous churches.

Changeover day
The Owners live locally in Caleta de Velez, thus can be very flexible on Changeover Days, Period of Stay and Arrival and Departure Times to meet your requirements. We will be there to meet you and show you around the house and offer advice on local events

Bedrooms: The bedrooms are located upstairs on the first floor.
Bedroom 1: Master bedroom with double bed and en suite bathroom.
Bedroom 2: twin beds

All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and ceiling fans.
Bathrooms: En-suite bathroom to bedroom 1 with bath/shower, washbasin, toilet and bidet.
Family bathroom with bath/shower, washbasin, toilet and bidet on first floor.
Ground floor guest shower-room with shower, washbasin and toilet.
Kitchen: The kitchen is a separate room from the main living area and has modern fitted-kitchen cupboards and worktop, fully equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, kitchen table and stools.
Utility Room: Washing machine. Clothes dryer.
Living Rooms: 3 and 2 seat sofa. Ceiling Fan, Satellite and local TV and DVD player. Dining table, six chairs, sideboard with CD/cassette/radio. Patio doors to private terrace, with direct access via garden gate to the pools set in beautiful secure gardens.
Cleaning/towels/

The house is thoroughly cleaned before each let. Bed linen and house towels supplied weekly. Water, electricity and gas are all included at no extra cost. Beach towels are not supplied.

Electric space heating is provided between November-March: the mild winters and longer daylight hours make Caleta de Velez an ideal all-year holiday destination.

Outside
The house has a private terrace with garden furniture comprising a dining table, 6 chairs and parasol, accessed from living room through a sliding glazed door. Enjoy your breakfast outside in the sun here and have a sun-downer cocktail in the balmy warm evenings. The terrace in turn gives direct access by garden gate to beautiful shared secure gardens with 2 large communal pools, an infants' paddling pool and sunloungers.

Coast/Beach
5km of sandy beaches and a yachting marina are just 2 minutes walk. A broad sweeping beach promenade stretches around the bay to Torre del Mar to the west and Mezquitilla in the east and is ideal for a relaxing stroll to the many bars and restaurants and other entertainment. The sea has a gentle gradient is safe for children. Caleta de Velez has a marina and fishing port with over 200 craft of varying shapes and sizes.

Golf
In Caleta de Velez, there is an excellent 18-hole golf course, Baviera Golf, just 5 mins drive. The course commands stunning sea and mountain views and was designed by top Spanish pro Jose Maria Canizares, who played in four Ryder Cups. The course can accommodate all level of players. Baviera Golf includes a driving range, clubhouse, restaurant, pro shop, changing rooms and showers. Lessons, trolleys, buggies and club hire are available. Many other golf courses are within easy reach (currently 37 in Malaga province).

Skiing
Sierra Nevada near Granada is less than an 1.5 hour drive and is Europe's most southerly ski resort, hosting top Alpine ski tournaments. It is open from December - April and has many ski schools, nursery slopes, ski hire, apres-ski restaurants, bars, shops, ski-lifts and cable cars etc. Even in the summer it is worth a look for the dramatic mountain scenery.

Travel
Nearest airport is Malaga and 40 mins easy drive along the A7 Autovia del Mediterraneo motorway. Directions from the airport to the house will be supplied. Car hire at Malaga Airport is the cheapest in Europe and is suggested but not essential. Suggestions on the various methods of transfer from the airport are available. Local bus services are cheap and frequent and Torre del Mar has a tram service to Velez-Malaga 5km away, giving easy access to this town and shopping centre.

Distances
Nerja, a busy beach resort with its world famous caves is only 15 mins drive. A short drive inland will take you to any number of "Andalucian White Villages", nestling in spectacular scenery. Beautiful Lake Vinuela and a "Parque Naturale" are within 20 mins drive. The historic cities of Malaga (Picasso Museum), Granada (Alhambra Palace), Sevilla (Cathedral and Palace) and Cordoba (8thC Mezquita) are all within easy driving distance.

Further details
Caleta de Velez has numerous local shops, banks, bakers, butchers, chemist, bars and restaurants. The nearest large supermarket is 5 minutes drive. In adjacent Torre del Mar, besides the go-cart circuit and water park, there is a large shopping mall "El Engenio" with 101 shops and includes a hypermarket, 12 cinemas and a bowling alley. The owners live locally in Caleta de Velez and can provide further advice and assistance as required.
