Our villa is situated on a pine clad hillside at the foot of the Coll de Rates Mountains (famous for cycling events and paragliding). A short distance from the picturesque village of Parcent. The villa is completely enclosed & private with spectacular views of the Jalon Valley below, mountains behind & sea in the distance. The villa is large luxurious & spacious and is designed, decorated & furnished to the highest of standards. It has every amenity and comfort to make a wonderful holiday. 1 lounge with TV showing English programmes & films. Another lounge with TV DVD player a selection of DVDs, books & games. The 3rd lounge sit and relax, listen to music. The Jalon Valley has all the amenities one could wish for including numerous restaurants, street cafe's, Bistro's, shops and the renowned Rastro (flea market) on Saturday mornings. It is a perfect venue for paragliding, cycling, walking, golf, beach or get away from it all holidays.

Notes on prices
Prices shown are for rental of the property for 8 persons per week in UK Pounds. An extra charge of £25 for each extra person per week will be made if more than 8 persons are staying in the villa to a maximum of 10 persons Please do not hesitate to contact us for further details. We will consider longer winter monthly lets at special rates. No reasonable offer refused from April to July.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible and dependent on occupancy of the Villa. Departure before 10.30am, arrival after 4pm. An extra cost of 10 euros per person is payable to the manager of the villa at the end of your stay for cleaning and washing of linen.

Luxury bed linen and towels are provided, sufficient for the length of your stay. Please bring own beach towels. Cleaning prior to your arrival and at the end of your holiday. A small charge of 10 Euros per person for cleaning & washing of bedding etc. |
Notes on accommodation
The villa is luxurious and all the rooms are beautifully furnished with coordinating furniture, soft furnishings and bed linen. Heating is supplied with electric radiators as required. There is a living flame gas fire in the main lounge and a wood burning high tech fire in the dowstairs lounge so that in winter it is warm and cosy. Ceiling fans and window blinds keep the rooms cool in summer. The villa has a security alarm system fitted. The downstairs part of the villa is suitable for wheelchair users. There are 3 steps leading from the drive to the grounds of the villa. Access via a wheelchair is possible via a ramp. The pool and sunbathing areas are easily accesible. The downstairs lounge has double entrance doors the bedroom is situated off the lounge is spacious and has double doors leading to the bathroom. Not all the villa and grounds are accesible for a wheelchair.

Outside
The main pool is 9x4m and has Roman steps for easy access at the shallow end, the deep end is suitable for diving. There is also a second pool, a plunge pool with seating around and a central fountain, great for having that cool drink. A covered naya and a pergola for 'alfresco' dining. A court yard with built-in BBQ and a static large table and seating. Play room with toys and some gym equipment. Beautiful gardens, south facing sunbathing areas with sun loungers and parasols. Quiet shady seating areas are here and there around the lovely mature garden areas.
Coast/Beach
The Costa Blanca is renowned for its white sandy blue flag beaches and several can be reached from the villa within 20 - 45 mins drive. Denia 20 mins. Moriara 20 mins. Calpe 20 mins. Javea 25 mins. Altea 35 mins. Benidorm 45 mins.
Golf
There are several Golf Courses in the area most within 20 to 50 mins drive. Benissa 9 hole course 20 mins drive. Denia 18 hole course 25 mins drive. Altea 18 hole course 30 mins drive. Oliva Nova 18 hole course 50 mins drive. There are currently at least 2 championship courses under construction at the present time.
Special interest holidays
The villa is situated in the most perfect location for walking or mountain climbing. There are clubs in the area and the tourist information centre in Jalon who have details of specific walks either on flat ground in the valley or in the mountains behind the villa. The best time for these activities are Autumn, Winter and Spring months.:
Paragliding is very popular from the Coll de Rates mountain, which is situated behind the villa, only minutes away. Paragliders are often seen coming down passing over the villa and landing in an area close to Parcent village. A great activity for Autumn, Winter and Spring months.
Cycling in the Jalon Valley and past the villa and up the Coll de Rates Mountain and down into Tarbena and along into costal and country villages is one of the most popular activities and sports in the area.
Travel
Nearest airports are Alicante 75km and Valencia 80km. Car hire or use of a car is essential. Please note: Ryanair will be flying to Valencia from 30 October 2007. Flights are available from 1 pence and taxes. Pick up a bargain holiday as we and some of our guests have done.
Distances
The nearest village is Parcent which is just a few mins drive and 15 mins walking distance to the centre of the village. There are supermarkets, bank, newsagents and an English 'Open All Hours' shop. In addition there are several good and economical restaurants and bars. The other villages of the Jalon Valley, Alkalali, Jalon, Lliber and Orba can all be easily reached within 10 mins drive. They all have interesting characteristics and plenty of restaurants, shops, street cafes and bars.
Further details
Terra Mitica Theme Park 40 mins drive, Aqualandia Water Park and Wild Life Park at Benidorm is 45 mins drive, Historic Guadalest and the famous water pools and waterfalls are just 20 mins drive. The area around the villa is particularly good for walkers/hikers, cycling, Bird watching and sight seeing. Many reknown cycling events pass our villa and the coll de Rates Mountains.
Booking notes
The price is for the villa sleeping 8 persons an extra charge will be made for each additional person of £25 per week to a maximum of 10 persons in the villa at any one time. A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking, the remaining 75% is payable 8 weeks before departure. A £100 refundable damage deposit is also required payable on arrival at the villa. A charge of 10 Euros per person is payable to the person managing the villa for cleaning and Laundry at the end of your stay.
