This superb fully furnished luxury townhouse was built in 2003 in a typical Andalusian style. The townhouse has marble tiled floors and staircases and air conditioning. A fully fitted modern kitchen, lounge/diner, 2 bedrooms (air conditioned), a shower room and a rooftop solarium. Guests have use of the communal pool. The house is situated within an 8 minute walk of Burriana beach. We are within 5 minutes drive of the N340 (A7) coastal motorway giving speedy access to most of the Costa del Sol.

Other: The roof top solarium has views of the mountains at the back and the town and sea at the front. The house has its own large secure garage which is available exclusively for house guests as is the roof area.

Outside
The Fuentesol Residencia consists of townhouses, set within beautiful, well lit gardens in a quiet atmosphere, all the local area consists of low rise apartments and residences, a mixture of typically Spanish haciendas and Andulusian style buildings.

Coast/Beach
Burriana beach is about 1km long and has areas of sun beds, children’s play areas, beach volley ball, water sports including a diving club. Showers and WC's are on the beach edge. Many resturants & lunch time cafes are situated
on the beach promenade. A designated area is used for boat rides and paracending in the high season only. Life guards patrol in the high season.

Golf
A golf course Baviera Golf is situated at Caleta de Velez also nearby.

Skiing
In the winter months within 2 hours drive of Nerja ski resorts are open near Granada in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Special interest holidays
Ideally located for walking holidays, with an adventure centre located nearby.

Travel
Nerja is an un-commercialised holiday town in Andalusia. Nerja is a typical Spanish town yet caters for tourists with several tranquil beaches with cafes, bars and many excellent restaurants. There are lots of modern shops, boutiques and supermarkets in Nerja and a large local market on Tuesdays. Palm trees and flowers line the main plaza in the old town where one may stroll, sit in a cafe or watch the street performers or just view the sunset from the famous Balcony of Europe.

Distances
Nerja lies close to the N340 coastal motorway giving access to Costa del Sol, Marbella, Gibraltar, Benalmadena and Malaga can all be visited for a comfortable day trip. Nerja is 65km east of Malaga on the Costa del Sol. Nerja lies at the foot of the Sierra Almijara Mountains giving a scenic backdrop to the town. Car hire is available in Nerja as are taxis and buses. Several supermarkets, gift shops are nearby. The mix of Spanish, English and other Europeans gives Nerja a nice continental feel.

Further details
Within 15 mins drive are many interesting places to visit not least the famous Caves of Nerja said to be the largest in Europe. Concerts are held in the caverns. Close at hand is the ancient Moorish village of Frigliana which is preserved as if time stood still in the 15th Century with its white walls and cobbled streets. Frigliana has local wine tasting and also mountain trails for hill ramblers who want a more energetic pastime. In the summer weekly concerts and festivals are held by the local villagers. Adventure trips such as riding mountain trails, jeep/bike tours etc. can all be arranged from local beach shops.

Within 2 hours drive is the fantastic Alhambra Palace near Granada. Many day trips to Malaga, Seville, Cordoba, Gibraltar, Ronda or even the TarifaJet sea cat ferry to Tangiers in Morroco can be all be booked locally.

Booking notes
Rates quoted are for the house. A maximum of 4 persons only. An extra bed for small children can be arranged or cot as required. A separate charge for this will be made. Deposit of 25% of total rental to be paid within 7 days to secure booking. Balance payable 8 weeks before departure together with a deposit of £100 to cover any damages, major breakages, or lost keys. (This is refundable on receipt of the keys once you have returned). We can also arrange to pick you up from Malaga Airport.

Guest comments
We stayed for 2 weeks in July/Aug 2008. We had a fantastic holiday. The house is beautifully furnished and very comfortable.There is even a roof top terrace and plenty of outside funiture. Very quiet location and the swimming pool never gets crowded. We loved the resort. It is plentiful for Restaurants and shops and nice walks. We went to the beach most days and were able to hire comfortable sunbeds. Very clean beach and waiter service. We hired a car and found lots to do re sight seeing, but the weather was so good we were able to enjoy it and relax. Thoroughly recommend accomodation and resort. Goss Family.

We stayed in this lovely holiday house in May '08. The house was very clean, modern and furnished to a high standard. The position was extremely good, we were able to walk to the beach and local, excellent restaurants. The welcome pack was great. About the owner
Juliet & Dale purchased Casa Tyler in 2003 after a romantic holiday in Nerja the previous year. We have two teenage daughters who have grown up enjoying great times here. We both work full time and look forward to our Nerja visits as this is a town untypical of other holiday venues on the Costa del Sol. We particularly like coming in May & November to get a bit of early & late warmth. We come usually about three times annually for relaxing or decorating. We try to make the house as comfortable as we would want and upgrade as necessary.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Since we came in 2003 many improvement have taken place, on Burriana Beach and in the town. The beach now has selected safe play areas for small children, a volley ball area, changing booths and many safety facilities such as life guard lookouts. There are many new beach showers and toilet facilities. People will have their favourite lunch time eatery at the beach, but we normally have lunch served at our sunbeds, is that very lazy ? The town has improved by making more paved pedestrian areas and has spent 1000s Euros on the Town Hall improvements which include the large public car park. Although Spanish & English are the main languages, many Dutch, French, & Scandanavian all come to Nerja giving the area a European feel.

Unique benefits of the property
As our holiday home is a town house (not an apartment) there is plenty of space for all. For sunbathing there is a large roof with roof top shower or the downstairs balcony is there, or for a quiet siesta the bedrooms are upstairs. We had a modern kitchen installed with granite worktops and most appliances. We like the TV, just the morning news and the kids like some music shows. However a quick swim in the pool just before breakfast is my favourite, breakfast is always alfresco on the lounge balcony. The aircon system at the house is fantastic as it gets very hot in Nerja in the summer. We can walk to the beach although there is a good few parking bays on the promenade, We have a large(very large) garage under the house (just for us) where we store all the beach stuff, and the car.
