Guests at the Villa Danica enjoy the deep seclusion of over 2,000 sq m of lush, subtropical gardens with mature trees, flowering shrubs, giant palms... vibrant colours and scents to a backdrop of birdsong. Stretch yourself in the 42 foot heatable pool, relax in the Finnish sauna, or enjoy a cook-out at the poolside barbecue. Spotlights and ambient lighting illuminate the gardens at night. From the sunny terrace you have far-reaching views across the Mediterranean, to the ‘Gates of Hercules’ (Gibraltar Straits) as far as North Africa. The open-plan interior is furnished with leisure in mind and is tastefully decorated with original artwork. Picture windows exploit the stunning views.
Within walking distance or a five minute drive, are many good restaurants, cafes and bars, a clean beach, cosmopolitan yacht harbour and several golf courses. The local village has good supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, eating and drinking haunts... all the home comforts in the Mediterranean sun.

Prices shown are for the property per week in UK Pounds and Euros at an approximated exchange rate. More accurate exchange rates may be worked out on day of booking - whichever is more favourable to client.
Electricty meter readings are taken on your arrival/departure, with tenants paying any charges in excess of 50 euros per week. Heating of the pool is a seperate £100/150 euros per week. A fully refundable deposit of 300 euros is requested on arrival.

Preferred to run bookings Saturday to Saturday, though this may be flexible.

Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen are included.
There is maid service availanble where the villa is cleaned and bed linen/towels laundered. Should the tenants require this please advise.
Gardener comes twice weekly (garden and pool maintenance) and pool man once weekly.

 

Notes on accommodation
To increase sleeping capacity: there is a small double sofabed in the kitchen, 2 x single put-up beds under the stairs plus the leather three seater and two seater sofas.
Air conditioning/heating units: Static unit in living area, fixed units for bedrooms.
For children: Cot, highchair, playpen, floor chair, Giraffe measure, blackboard, large rocking dolphin plus original murals on each of the bedroom walls.

Upper terrace is directly accessed from the villa living area. Wooden table and chairs to seat 4.
Large private pool measuring 13m x 8m, may be illuminated at night and heated in the cooler seasons (for an additional £100 per week - please advise if required).
The 2000 square metres of sub-tropical gardens may be accessed directly from each of the three bedrooms. There are several patio areas around the pool and villa.
Poolside: 4 wooden sun-lounges, BBQ area with table and 4 chairs.
Below dining area patio: Iron table & 4 chairs.

Coast/Beach
The villa is situated on the coast. The local beach is 10 minutes walk from the villa on which there are at least two very good beach bars open in high season. Along the coast you may access numerous beaches from Malaga (90km), Puerto Banus (17km), Estepona (5km), La Duquesa (2km), Sotogrande (12km) to the beautiful shores of Tarifa (50km)famed for hosting windsurfing and kitesurfing world championships and Cadiz (200km).

Golf
Numerous golf courses including within 3km, Golf La Duquesa and Estepona Golf and within 12km, the world famous 'Valderama'.

Skiing
Within 3 hours drive you can enjoy the ski slopes of Sierra Nevada (Granada).

Travel
Gibraltar Airport (Gibraltar)- 40km, approximately 35 minutes from the Spanish side. Suggest you walk across the Spanish border from airport (10 minutes) and collect car hire in Spain.
Malaga Airport (Spain) - 90km. Approximately 50 minutes to villa.

Distances
Sabinillas - Local village (1km). Bars, restaurants, local shops, large supermarkets, banks, large Sunday market.
Cosmopolitan ports with plethora of bars and restaurants: La Duquesa (2km),Estepona (5km), Sotogrande (12km), Puerto Banus (17km), Cadiz (oldest fishing port in Europe) 200km etc..
Beautiful inland pueblo villages include Casares (12km), Gaucin (20km)and further inland to Ronda, Seville, Cordoba, Granada or across the Straits to Africa!

Further details
Visit the local Roman and Moorish sites; bathe in the glitz of nearby Marbella and Puerto Banus; or track lions in Selwo Nature Park. Go inland to Casares and the beautiful white pueblo, visit Ronda, Granada (Alhambra), Seville, Cadiz, Cordoba. . . . ; take a day trip to Africa to sample the exotic markets or in the Winter months ski in Sierra Nevada! (approx. 3 hours drive).

Minimum rental one week, preferably Saturday to Saturday.
A deposit of 40% secures your reservation.
Balance to be paid one month before arrival.
Car hire from Malaga or Gibraltar airports may be arranged.
Electricity meter readings will be taken on your arrival and at departure. Usage exceeding 50 euros per week, should be covered by the tenant.
Pool heated for an extra 150 euros per week.

On arrival, a fully refundable deposit of 300 euros should be left with the local agent.
