A spacious ground floor apartment, with 2 bedrooms, a dining area, living room, large kitchen, utility room and ample storage space. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. There is a separate shower/WC room and a separate shower room. The balcony is large enough for upto 10 people to have dinner. The block is situated within a secure fenced area and access is via a private road and private gates. There are 3 communal swimming pools, very quiet, never more than 2 people for one pool, even during summer. There are a few restaurants, bars and convenience store within walking distance. Calahonda town centre and the beach is just over 1 mile away and there is a tourist train at regular intervals going into the town centre. The balcony looks over the gardens and views are towards the sea. On a clear day you can see the African continent. The balcony is a perfect place to sunbathe on a winter day, as it it very sheltered.

Air Conditioning and underfloor heating available. This property is recommended for people wishing a peaceful time. Anyone wishing to party will find it disappointing. The downtown clubs/discos are a mile away.

Outside
There are 3 large shared swimming pools, with areas for kids. Even during summer time, there are no more than 2 people per pool. During summer months, there is an onsite life-guard.
Coast/Beach
Calahonda beach is just over a mile away, down at the bottom of the hill. The nudist/gay beaches are about 3 miles away. There are other beaches within a short drive range: La Cala beach, Cabopino beach, Marbella beach, Puerto Banus beach, Fuengirola beach and numerous other beaches in between.
Local agencies offer day trips to Morocco. Granada, Seville are within 3 hours drive.
Travel
Malaga airport is 20 minutes away by car. The apartment is very easy to find, should you approach Calahonda from the motorway.
Gibraltar airport is 35 minutes away. If you arrive via Gibraltar, then make sure you hire the car from the Spanish side. You only have to walk 2 minutes from the airport, across the border. You'll save yourself a lot of hassle.

Booking notes
Payment accepted in euros or sterling. To secure reservation, a deposit of £150 is required. The balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to holiday commencement. A deposit of £150 GBP required to cover breakages and keys. If no damage, this will be refunded. Keys will be posted to your home address, once full payment is received. After vacating property, the keys will need to be posted back and the deposit will then be refunded.
