Notes on accommodation
The studio apartment is refurbished with new floor tiles throughout, new bathroom, windows and blinds. It is in an attractive, pleasant and quiet area. To ensure the apartment is kept clean and fresh for all guests, we ask that people kindly do not smoke in the apartment. There are 2 very comfortable full size twin beds with sprung mattresses and as they are matching beds can also be placed together for a double bed. Ideal accommodation for 2/3. Excellent location within walking distance to beach, all amenities and attractions. Not necessary to hire a car as good transport links close by, parking in street or residents' car park if required.

2 lifts in building. Apartment on second floor.
Outside
Large well maintained shared swimming pool in landscaped gardens with lawn and seating around. Poolside showers and toilet. Washing drying area. There is a small supermarket in the grounds of the urbanisation.
Coast/Beach
5 minutes walk to local beach. La Cala has a blue flag sandy beach with a good selection of beach restaurants. There are many other easy accessible beaches and resorts to visit along the coastline. There are some local water sports and the Aquaparks in Torremolinos and Fuengirola are easy accessible as is Benalmadena Marina with the Sea Life Centre and picturesque port. Marbella and the famous Puerto Banus is a short distance away by transport.
Golf
Several golf courses in close proximity. The Chaparral celebrity golf course is within walking distance. Noria Golf approx 10 minutes walk and La Cala Hills Golf, Riviera and Miraflores approx 10 minutes drive. The Costa del Sol racecourse is approx 1km (horse racing usually on Saturday or Sunday) with many other events often held there.
Travel
Malaga airport is 25 minutes away by transport. It is not essential to have car hire as public transport available including train, from Malaga Airport. Fuengirola and Torremolinos with its Aquaparks, Marbella, Puerto Banus, Tivoli World, Cable Car, are easily accessible by public transport along the coast. Gibraltar is approx an hour's drive away with duty free shopping and famous Barbary Apes and Cable Car up to the top of the rock.
Distances
Apart from the coastal attractions, Marbella, Puerto Banus, Fuengirola, Benalmadena Puerto and Aquaparks etc, there are many interesting places to visit including Gibraltar (just over 1 hour away), and inland Ronda, Mijas Pueblo and the Spanish white villages. It is not necessary to hire a car as visits can be made by public transport or excursions can be booked locally.
Further details
There are local shops nearby and some very nice Spanish and English restaurants and family bars. La Cala also has many good restaurants, several banks, bureau de change, supermarket, shops and local street market. There are some local water sports and the aquaparks along the coast are easy accessible. Fuengirola and Marbella also have large shopping centres.

When making a booking, a booking form will be sent for completion and a non-refundable deposit will be required. The balance will be due 8 weeks prior to departure plus a holding deposit of £100. The holding deposit will be refunded after safe return of keys and satisfactory inspection of apartment.
