This well positioned apartment is situated in Alameda del Mar, having 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is a private parking bay adjacent to the property. The apartment has a large paved patio area which is ideal for sunbathing or just relaxing under the sun-awning with a drink. It also benefits from having its own gate leading directly on to the gardens surrounding the communal pool. It is ideal for families, couples of all ages and golfers. There are numerous sandy coves and beaches nearby. Supermarkets and banks are close at hand. At Playa Flamenca, a five minutes walk away you will find all types of bars and restaurants, for example Hungarian, Indian, French, Polish, German and Thai, plus many more. The golf courses of Villamartin, Campoamar and Las Rambles are less than a 10 minute drive away.

Notes on accommodation
This accommodation is ideal for families with its ground floor location and its own access to the communal gardens surrounding the swimming pool. Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. Ashtrays are provided for outdoor use only. Sun worshipers will relish the location of this apartment with its South Facing aspect with sun all year round (when it is out).

This apartment is accessible for wheelchairs being on the ground floor.
Outside
The large garden/patio area has 2 tables with chairs and additional cane furniture for your comfort. Adjustable 20 sq. metres sun awning to shield the rays. Sun loungers and reclining chairs are also provided. The large communal pool has a childrens section. Two of the bedrooms and the lounge open directly on to the patio.
Coast/Beach
There are numerous sandy coves and beaches to be found nearby. The larger blue flag beaches of Playa Flamenca and La Zenia are 800-900 metres away and be easily strolled to. Beach bars and water sports can be found on these beaches. Long, sandy beaches can be found just a short drive away in both directions.
Golf
Golfers are spoilt for choice as there are three 18 hole golf courses nearby including, Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamar. These can be easily reached within a 10 minute drive of the apartment. The world famous La Manga golf course is only approx. a 45 minutes drive south. La Finca golf course can be reached within a 20 minute drive.
Travel
Alicante airport is a 40 minute drive away (depending on traffic!). However Murcia (San Javier) airport can be reached in 20 minutes. Airport collection and return can be arranged. Although car hire is not essential, a few days car hire would enable you to explore further afield.
Distances
The town of Torrevieja is less than a 10 minute drive away. Cartegena, which is an old naval port can be reached in 30 minutes via the A7 motoway. The Mar Menor is appox. a 15 minute drive away. This area is traditionally known for its mud baths which is said to eleviate symptoms of arthritis and rheumatism. It also has lovely sandy beaches and tapas bars. About 45 minutes drive south is the resort of La Manga which is well worth a visit.
Further details
Locally there is a large street market held every Saturday at Playa Flamenca. The market is one of the biggest and best around the Costa Blanca. You will find a market every day of the week nearby. Close to the apartment you will find the Go-Karts which is fun for the kids and the adults alike. They also have quad bikes. Torrevieja has a large marina with over a 1,000 berths, a fun fair, a large promenade which is bustling from early evening with street artists and stalls. Take a harbour walk and see the shops, restraunts and bars. Bookings can be made from the harbour for different types of boat trips. Torrevieja also has ten-pin bowling, a multiplex cinema, bingo halls, a Aqua Park and the "Park of Nations" with a children`s play area, boating lake, etc.
Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking with the balance due 8 weeks before arrival date. Failure to meet the balance in full with result in loss of deposit.
