Casa Relinque is a caringly renovated Moorish house just a five-minute walk from the old town’s centrepiece the Plaza de Espana – a popular meeting place with many Spanish-style bars and restaurants. The house has its own private roof terrace and courtyard with purpose-built covered area, which is perfect for cooling off or fixing a drink. It also has its own 3x5m swimming pool. Casa Relinque is perfectly situated for the Easter Bull Run (it overlooks it) and it is conveniently located just a 3 minute car drive from from the local supermarket.

Kitchen: Beautiful modern kitchen with halogen spotlights, aluminium-fronted appliances and granite work surfaces. Fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven/hob with extractor hood, toaster, blender, chrome juicer and steam iron + board.
Living Rooms: Huge Lounge (21m) with Moroccan-style seating, coffee table, 2 wicker sofas, a 28" colour TV with free-to-air channels (incuding English TV stations), DVD player and a wide selection of DVDs.
Other: Small paperback library and board games available. There are handmade terracotta floor tiles throughout, hand-stained wood and ornamental metal and glass lanterns. The dining room has a large hardwood table and six dining chairs.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Bed linen and towels are provided and changed weekly. Pool towels are also provided (not to be used for beach). The house is thoroughly cleaned prior to arrival.

 

Notes on accommodation
There are de-humidifiers and convector/fan heaters in each room. The house is also equipped with an iPod-compatible stereo.

Outside
The private patio area is paved with rustic tiles and comprises a 5m x 3m swimming pool with corner Roman steps (max depth 1.5m). There is both outdoor and underwater lighting in the pool. There are four hardwood steamer sunbeds and there is also a purpose-built covered area, under which is a hardwood patio table and six chairs for poolside dining. The new roof terrace provides majestic views of the Vejer old town and the street below (Juan Relinque - ideal for the Easter bull run) and is furnished with another patio table with six chairs and a matching umbrella.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches are El Palmar and Canos de Meca about a 10-minute drive from the house. These unspolit beaches are beautiful with white sand and clear water. Surfing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing are available. Just a few miles further up the coast you'll find Conil de la Frontera and La Barrosa, both very well equipped with on-beach restaurants and showers.

Golf
Golf at international standard Montenmedio a 20 minute drive away.

Special interest holidays
Vejer de la Frontera is a stunning white-walled hilltop village (pueblo blanco). It is steeped in history and as as result is popular with historians, writers and painters. There is a range of local restaurants and bars to explore, all just a short walk away. The market sells fresh local produce and fish, and is less than 5 minutes' walk away. There is also a large supermarket close to the house, plus a bakery, several banks and the tourist information centre. There are locally organised groups for mountain-biking and walking available in season.
Casa Relinque benefits from a great location situated on the longest street in the town, Juan Relinque. The house also has a prime vantage point for many festivals and overlooks the Easter weekend bull run.

Travel
Nearest airport is Jerez, approximately 1 hour drive away. Ryanair fly direct from Stansted. Gibraltar is approximately 1 hour away also served by BA/Iberia, Seville airport is approximately 1 hour 30 min drive, served by BA; Malaga is 2 hours away served by Easyjet, BA. A hire car is a good idea to make the most of the local towns and beaches. Parking is available just 50 yards from the house.

Distances
The house is positioned in the popular old town and is the perfect base for exploring all the town's tourist attractions on foot, including the church and castle.

Booking notes
30% deposit to book, balance paid one month prior to arrival. £150 deposit for breakages, refundable 10 working days after departure. Please replace breakages where possible. Check-in times are usually after 3pm and check-out times are usually before 11am. Our house manager Linda Frost will meet you at the house and is on-call throughout your stay for emergencies.
