La Palmeria has been built and superbly finished to a very high specification and has 2 bedrooms each with ensuite facilities, full air conditioning, central heating, Wi Fi internet connection for use with your own laptop. Guests have exclusive use of the pool, two gazebos (poolside and private dining), sun terraces, dining terraces and landscaped gardens. A lovely property for 1 or 2 couples, or the small family, with superior facilities inside and out.

Changeover day
We can only accept bookings from Saturday to Saturday. Checkout by 11am and check-in after 3pm. If you arrive early, we invite you to drinks in the gazebo.

High quality towels and linen are included and changed weekly. Pool/beach towels are provided. The property has a housekeeper who will provide a cleaning service and towel and linen change each week free of charge for guests staying for 2 weeks or more. |
Notes on accommodation
The property is fully air conditioned and also centrally-heated making it an excellent base for househunters in off-season periods as well as for winter golfers. Although our own living accommodation is attached to La Palmeria, the pool and pool terrace, 2 gazebos and all of the garden sun/dining terraces are totally and exclusively for use of La Palmeria’s guests.

Outside
La Palmeria's guests have exclusive use of the private 8x4m swimming pool which has roman steps and underwater lighting. There is an extensive pool terrace with a furnished gazebo, 4 sunloungers, 2 large parasols, 2 contemporary hammocks. A further totally private lower sun terrace has 2 sunloungers, 2 chairs, a parasol and an American swing seat. There are 2 dining terraces directly outside of La Palmeria's accommodation - a dining table and chairs ideal for breakfast, and a few steps from here, a fully furnished second gazebo on the BBQ terrace complete with lighting for night time use. The prettily planted landscaped gardens are also for the exclusive use of the guests.
Coast/Beach
The sandy beaches north of Denia are 20 minutes drive from La Palmeria and stretch for 15km or so, offering a variety of watersports. The beaches and coves at Javea are also around 20 minutes drive from the property. The Arenal beach has a long promenade, a variety of restaurants and a lovely sandy beach.
Golf
Oliva Nova golf course - 20 minutes drive and situated between Denia and Oliva, 18-hole Par 72 championship course with full practice facilities, Green Fee 69 euros.
Club La Sella, Javea - 20 minutes drive, quality challenging course next to the Montgo Parque Natural, Green Fee 49 euros. Other golf courses in the area are Club de Golf, Javea, and Don Cayo at Altea Hills.
Travel
Valencia and Alicante airports are just over one hour drive from the property. Car hire is essential.
Distances
Orba village - 10 minutes walk. Good selection of bars, restaurants, shops, banks. Alcalali village - 10 minutes drive. Well-known eating village in the Jalon valley with half a dozen good restaurants. Jalon town - 15 minutes drive. Lots of facilities, restaurants, tapas bars, shops, boutiques, internet cafes, famous Saturday flea market. Denia and Javea - popular coastal resort towns offering good dining and shopping.
Booking notes
25% deposit is required to confirm your booking. Balance is payable by 8 weeks prior to your arrival. A security deposit of £150 is requested with the payment of your balance of rental and is refunded within 10 working days of your departure after the property has been cleaned/changed over.
We can accept payment by credit card.

As regards the property, it was absolutely outstanding! It exceeded our expectations, going by the pictures on the website, and they were fantastic to start with. The hospitality was second to none, and the attention to detail was perfect. Everything was immaculate, and you have thought of everything to make our stay memorable, including Norman's little "extras". The accommodation was absolutely excellent. We would have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone, the facilities were 5-star and the hospitality from Karen & Norman was outstanding.
