2 sunloungers are provided on the spacious terrace over looking golf course for relaxation (reading, sunbathing etc) also large oval table and 6 chairs for enjoying views while dining on the terrace.
From the apartment to Vinaros (10 minutes) there is beautiful sandy beaches (blue flag). Nearby Peniscola (15 min) town has lovely beaches as well. Water sports including windsurfing are enjoyed in Vinaros. The market in Vinaros is held on thursday and is well worth a visit, whether you are buying or browsing.
The Panoramica golf course was designed by Bernhard Langer it is a par 72 course. The course was host to the 2005 Ladies Spanish PGA Tournament. Excellent practise and training areas on this 18 hole golf course. We had professional golfers staying in the apartment for the tournament. The club house caters for all your needs you can hire golf clubs as well as golf buggies. Lessons can also be arranged. A round of golf is about 42 euros. A new 18 hole par 3 course has also been added.
Special interest holidays
If you enjoy mountain biking the area surrounding the complex will be of special interest, as the trails are renowned. Or if you do not wish to venture outside the complex, there are 4 new tennis courts, an astro turf football pitch, a basketball court all floodlit. There is also a new running track as well as the new 18 hole par 3 golf course. And for young families, a playpark has been erected and is also floodlit.
How to get there
Reus is approx 50 minutes away. Ryanair have frequent schedules from Glasgow Prestwick and other UK cities a Ireland into Reus (Salou). Barcelona is approx 1 hour 45 mins away. Valencia is approx 1 hour 15 mins. All the major airlines have schedules for these airports, as well as Easyjet, Ryanair etc. There is a new airport due to open 2008 in Castellon, this will be approx 30 mins away from the apartment. To appreciate this region of Spain a car is recommended. The roads are of a good standard.
Vinaros is 10 mins away. Other small traditional villages are 20 minute radius from the apartment. Benicarlo is 20 minutes away. The atmospheric Peniscola old town with the old castle and walled fortifications and white washed houses, make this town well worth a visit. Directions from all airports will be emailed to you to make your journey easier.
On the complex a new supermarket has opened and is filled with extensive and essential goods, fresh baked bread is available. 3 new bars and restaurants have also opened, all have 3 course meals for a set price of 9 Euros, which is excellent value. The Clubhouse also serves excellent meals and well filled sandwiches. However if you wish to venture outside, Vinaros is a bustling town. It has it's fair share of banks, supermarkets (Carrefour, Sabeco and Lidl). Excellent restaurants whether you need a snack or a more substantial meal. Beautiful church and square, in the town centre. There is ample parking in Vinaros. PortAventura is a 50 minute drive from the complex. Or if you prefer you can take the train from Vinaros into this excellent theme park and water world. You can also take the train from Vinaros to Barcelona or Valencia these can be booked in advance from the station. Other towns and villages can be reached also by train. The complex Panoramica Golf is easily reached via the AP 7 Barcelona/Valencia autopisa (motorway). Exit at junction 42 (salida 42) then follow the signs for San Rafel, then you follow signs for Panoramica golf. At the complex you will be met and shown to your apartment, by a British couple who live on the complex and have a wealth of knowledge about the area and are more than happy to answer queries. A welcome pack is provided (at no cost to yourself). A taxi service is available whether you need picked up from Reus Airport or just fancy a short trip into Vinaros (ten minutes away from the complex).
