Our penthouse enjoys the highest elevation and is the largest apartment on the new Los Altos de Lunymar complex. The lower terrace basks in the morning sun and is accessed by sliding doors from the lounge and master bedroom. The incredible private roof terrace enjoys the sun all day and is accessed by sliding doors from both the upstairs bedrooms. Both terraces overlook the pools and beautiful tropical gardens. Views to the north are of the mountains and La Resina Golf & Country Club and to the south the lush river valley and the Mediterranean. 2 mins drive to the coastal road, with Estepona about 4km to the west and Puerto Banus and Marbella only 10 mins away. 10 min walk to Selwo Adventure Park. Many local beaches, often secluded with good facilities, including Laguna Village, Puro, Senora, Hacienda and Heaven Beaches. A good base to visit traditional Spanish villages like Rhonda & Benahavis. Easy access to major routes to Gibraltar, Granada, Cadiz, Seville & Malaga.

There is an underground car park, the door operated with remote control. The lift from the car park will take you to the front door of the apartment and to the ground floor of the complex.

Outside
The massive, private roof terrace has an outside shower, electric barbecue, a table and 6 chairs and 6 sunloungers. If you enjoy eating alfresco on warm Spanish evenings, the roof is the place to do it.There is a single door access as well as double door access from the upper two bedrooms. The lower terrace has planters with automatic irrigation system. There is another table and chairs on this terrace to enjoy breakfast in the morning sun. There is a main swimming pool and a children's pool which are shared. The tropical gardens are beautiful and well maintained. There is a communicating phone between the security gate and the apartment.
Coast/Beach
A few minutes drive to the local beaches, with easy access and free parking. These beaches are not crowded and often have beach bars and good facilities. The nearest beach is about 15 minutes walk away. Heaven beach bar and Puro beach (laguna Village) are very different to the normal beaches and both about 5 minutes drive away in opposite directions. Golf
La Resina Golf & Country club can be seen from the penthouse and is only a five minute walk to the entrance.
This is a brand new course now open to non-members.
Travel
Malaga airport is about a 50 minute drive on the motorway. Car hire from the airport is recommended to make the most of your holiday.

Further details
Selwo Adventure Park is only a ten minute walk away, and is very much worth a visit, check out their website. If you are self catering, there are several good supermarkets with the biggest being Carrefore, about 10 minutes drive.

Our lasting memory was having a barbecue on the roof terrace watching a fabulous firework display.
