The villa is situated in the quiet and popular Tres Cales area and is just 2km from the sea. All of the beaches on Tres Calas have been awarded blue flags and the coastline of L'Ametlla is one of the cleanest coastlines in Europe with its small sandy beaches and coves set amongst dramatic cliffs. The villa does benefit from its own private pool – ideal for a cooling dip after a lazy day of sunbathing on one of the pool loungers. In addition, there is a sun terrace over the top of the garage for more secluded sunbathing, whilst the main terrace outside of the lounge has a built in barbecue area. The garden, pool and terrace are all south facing ensuring sun all day long. The villa is just 500m from a small shopping centre with a supermarket and bakery, two bars and a bar / restaurant. For a wider selection of shops and restaurants we would recommend a visit to L’Ametlla de Mar, just a 5 minute car journey away with fantastic local seafood restaurants a plenty.

Changeover day
During July and August, only Saturday to Saturday bookings will be accepted. Outside of these months, other periods will be considered. The villa will be available from 4pm on the day of arrival, and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

Bedrooms: Master Bedroom with double bed and balcony and air-con.
2nd bedroom with twin beds and balcony and fan.
3rd bedroom with twin bunk beds if required and fan.
Bathrooms: The master bedroom has en-suite consisting of WC, wash basin, bath and over bath shower.
The family bathroom has a wash basin, WC and shower. Downstairs there is a cloakroom with WC and wash basin.
Kitchen: The attractive kitchen has ample storage cupboards both at eye and floor level with granite worktops. The appliances include a hob and oven, fridge freezer, stainless steel sink unit, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave.
Living Rooms: This large open plan room has a 3 seater bed settee sofa, dining area and coffee table. There is also a TV with ‘free to view’ UK channels a DVD player and an air con. Double patio doors lead out onto the covered terrace, BBQ area, pool and garden.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All bedlinen and towels (but not beach towels) are provided. The villa is cleaned before the arrival and after the departure of each client.

Accessibility
The villa has 3 steps up to the entrance and all bedrooms are on the first floor.

Outside
The pool is 6x3½m and the area around the pool is lawned. The main terrace has a garden table and six chairs and a built in barbecue area.Sun loungers are provided on the number of persons booked. T here is an upstairs sun terrace from the hallway and balconies from the master bedroom and second bedroom. The garage is to the side of the property.

Coast/Beach
There are three local beaches just 5 minutes drive from the villa. Cala Forn is the nearest, being 2 kilometres distant, with Sant Jordi beach a little further on. These beaches are very suitable for children, with fine sand and shallow water and never crowded even in July and August. Cristal Beach at Miami Plaja is a 15 minute drive and deserving of a visit with many bars and restaurants located on the wide promenade.

Golf
The impressive Bonmont golf club is just a 20 minute drive from Tres Cales with other courses in the near vicinity.

Travel
The nearest airport is Reus, just some 40 minutes drive away. This airport has recently been expanded and is a destination airport for a number of charter airlines from many UK cities. Ryanair provide daily scheduled flights from Luton, Liverpool, Dublin and Stansted. The nearest railway station is at L’Ametlla de Mar (direct line to Barcelona), but a car is an essential to enjoy all that the area has to offer.
Barcelona airport is an hour and a half drive (140 kilometres).

Distances
The ancient city of Tarragona with its roman ruins and the town of Reus (birthplace of the architect Gaudi) are well worth a visit(a half hour drive). The seaside towns of Cambrils, Salou, Miami Plaja also have many fine sandy beaches which are never crowded, even in the summer months. Universal Studios theme park, Port Aventura, and Costa Caribe water park are also a short drive away, near Camrils and Salou.

Further details
For the fisherman, the River Ebro is a 45 minute drive away with Wells catfish (up to 200lbs!), carp, chub, barbell and zander being among the target species. The Ebro delta is the second most important wetland habitat area in Western Europe and home to some 300 different species of birds during the year, with autumn being the best viewing time as over wintering species mix with those migrating South.

Booking notes
A 20% non refundable deposit is required to secure your chosen dates. The final balance is due 6 weeks before your arrival date. A £150 refundable deposit is also required with the final balance, and will be returned to you upon a satisfactory check being carried out on the villa on the day of departure.
