It is within walking distance to the prestigious La Finca golf course and is a short 35 min drive from Alicante and Murcia airports. There are a number of blue flag beaches and quaint Spanish villages and towns within 10 minutes drive. The villa also has use of a large, beautifully designed community pool.

Outside
The gardens provide a peaceful and private area for al-fresco dining. There is a large, colourful landscaped front and side garden with tropical plants and trees, a paved driveway. Outdoor lighting at the front and side for evening dining at the beautiful patio area, with its Spanish style carved stone table and chairs. Outside furniture, sun loungers and a BBQ are also provided. The property also has a front porch, a small back terrace, a large private terrace off the main bedroom and 2 roof terraces, the large front roof terrace also has a shower.
Coast/Beach
Guardamar beach is a short 12-15 minute drive away and has been awarded the EU Blue Flag status for its cleanliness.
There are plenty of sea front bars and restaurants whilst the nature reserves are just 5 minutes from the beach. Guardamar also has an evening market and fun fair.
Golf
La Finca - championship golf course. This is a short walk (5-7 mins) from the house. La Finca has a luxury club house with an outstanding bar/restaurant with spectacular views. Villamartin, Campoamar and La Marquesa are within 15 minutes drive.
Travel
Algorfa is a small typically Spanish village and is a pleasant 20 min stroll from the house. There are a number of shops, small supermarket (wine served from a large terracotta vat, very cheap and very good!). There is also an English pub where you can buy reasonable priced pub grub (taxi fare is 3 euros each way from the house!). There are many other rural villages and towns in the area, most within 10 mins drive.

The villa is equidistant to Alicante and Murcia airports, approximately 35 mins drive.
Further details
The Hagan villa in Algorfa is the perfect base to explore what south west Spain has to offer! It has many mountain ranges for rock climbers, long winding smooth roads for cyclists. Other activities are Horse riding, walking and tennis. The blue flag beaches in Guardamar are ideal for swimming or water sports against the backdrop of the Costa Blanca’s famous golden sands (9 miles of beach at Guardamar)! You could also swim in the communal pool 50 meters from the property, sun loungers available. La Finca golf club, which is only 1KM from the house (to the club house), is soon to become a Championship course, Las Ramblas a testing, but fun round of golf, driving your ball across gorges and cliffs and Club golf de Villamartin, the millionaires playground and holders of the Spanish open 2002! There are also water parks in Rojales and Torrevieja, Safari trips and fantastic shopping opportunities in Guadamar! The House is ideal for a relaxing or an adventure holiday, you decide?
Torrevieja is a large Spanish market town 15 minutes drive from the villa. Along the seafront there is a beautiful walkway lined with palm trees and sculptures. There is a long stretch of beach which has also been awarded blue flag status for cleanliness and market stalls stretch the full length of the sea front.
Torreveija has 2 large salt lagoons one of which is a designated nature reserve and is home to a large number of flamingos.
Los Montesinos is also a traditional Spanish village, were you can get a real flavour of what local life is like!
Booking notes
There is a £100 deposit required within 1 week, to secure the booking, the price of the rental must be payed in full after an initial deposit 8 weeks prior to departure. The initial deposit will be returned upon vacating the house and confirmation that no damage has occured. Prices include cleaning.
