Notes on accommodation
All rooms have fans - air conditioning is not needed as the thick wall construction keeps the whole Casa cool in the hot summer months. The rooms are heated so comfort is assured even during those few chilly evenings in Jan & Feb.
Accessibility
The Front entrance is via the original large double Spanish doors and there is a downstairs toilet with wheelchair access so that our restaurant is suitable for wheelchair users but all the bedrooms are on the first and second floors.
Outside
The inner terrace can be accessed by a spiral staircase and is a really tranquil spot to relax. Drinks and snacks can be taken here amidst the scent of passion flowers.
The local piscina (swimming pool) is olympic size and has an excellent restaurant and bar which serves snacks and lunches. The pool is about 5 mins walk from the hotel and costs just a euro a day!
Coast/Beach
From Parcent you have a choice of many fabulous sandy beaches stretching from Denia in the North to Calpe Westbound - all within 20 mins. All the beaches are cleaned daily and have superb facilities. Some have volleyball courts, beach bars and water-sport hire, others are quite unspoilt dunes - the choice is yours!
Golf
We have 5 great courses all within 30 mins drive, including the championship course at La Sella.
Special interest holidays
Casa Carrascal organise and run walking, cooking, gourmet and painting holidays. As well as the normal week long activity based break, we can offer our guest day activities in all of the above areas.
Travel
Ideally situated - less than an hour from both Alicante and Valencia airport via the A7 motorway.
Distances
We are just 5km from Jalon, the wine growing and producing region of the area. 15km from Denia & Calpe and about 20km from Moraira and Javea.
Further details
The area has a large number of excellent restaurants (apart from ours which is regarded as one of the best in the area!). It is an eating and drinking paradise with great food and locally produced wine available at remarkable prices - as an example our 4 course gourmet menu with a half bottle of excellent Rioja can be enjoyed for about £13.50 a head.
