Changeover day
Saturday to Saturday preferred although other changeover days possible subject to bookings. On changeover days during July and August we would respectfully request departing guests vacate by 10am and incoming guests arrive after 4pm to allow for cleaning.

Accommodation

 

Notes on accommodation
Excellent, spacious split level accommodation most suitable for families/large groups. The development is also entirely fenced off and gated and is therefore ideal and safe for young children. There is also a children's pool suitable for toddlers.

Outside
Large shared adult pool set in landscaped grounds with own changing rooms, showers, sunloungers etc. Adjacent good sized children's pool suitable for toddlers. Separate tennis court (paddleball). Private secluded patio and lawned garden suitable for BBQ's overlooking golf course with large outside table and 6 chairs.
Large completely private roof/sun terrace with magnificent views over the main fairways of the Islantilla golf course. The roof terrace is equipped with 2 sun loungers and a wooden outdoor dining table and 4 matching chairs. A must place to sit with a drink and watch the sun set over the golf course!

Coast/Beach
A 3 minute drive to the Playa Islantilla beach and main commercial resort. The whole coastline (including Algarve) consists of unspoilt pure sand beaches stretching for miles including a number of national parks with clean clear water, natural inlets and sand spits bordered by large pine forests. Just five minutes drive away in either direction are miles of long, beautiful and deserted sandy beaches backed by sand dunes and pine forests.

Golf
The following 7 championship standard golf courses are within a half hour's drive away: Islantilla, El Rompido, Costa Esuri, Castro Marim (Algarve), Nuevo Portil, Isla Canela and Bellavista.
Within an hour's drive are some of the best golf courses in Spain and Portugal including Quinta da Cima and Quinta da Ria in the Eastern Algarve and Real Club de Golf Seville in Spain.

Travel
Faro Airport in Portugal is just under 1 hour's drive away. Seville Airport is just over 1 hour's drive away. All journeys are mainly on excellent motorways making the travelling straightforward and easy. Car hire is strongly recommended.

20km to Ayamonte/Portuguese border. 120km to Seville.
100km to Rio Tinto mines/mountain national parks etc.

Further details
The attractive large beachside commercial plaza in Islantilla is close by and is packed full of restaurants (serving local and international food), bars, supermarket, shops, clothes boutiques, cinema, banks etc. There is also a small local grocery shop a couple of minutes walk away at the end of the street where you can buy fresh bread, croissants, milk etc.
The beautiful 5 star Hotel Islantilla Golf Resort is just a few minutes walk (opposite golf club house). The hotel boasts fantastic leisure facilities including a huge outdoor pool and a nicely refurbished indoor pool with jacuzzi (a hit with the kids especially in the cooler months!). There is also an Emilio Montero SPA body relax centre next door with turkish baths, hydromassages, thermal bathing etc.
There are also a number of other large 4/5 star hotels in Playa Islantilla itself all of which have excellent facilities. The Confortel Hotel in particular has a magnificent large swimming pool in tropical gardens which is open to non residents out of peak season.
A large brand new Mercadona supermarket has just opened 5 mins drive away with underground car parking and lifts.
A Carrefour hypermarket has also recently opened in Cartaya (15 mins drive) where you can buy pretty much anything - a good place to stock up for the week.

Booking notes
Booking deposit of £250 per week is required in advance. Full payment is required 2 months before departure. £50 per week refundable key/damage deposit also taken.
