Beautiful modern apartment on upper 2 floors of a small development surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. It is in a quiet position with two large terraces giving spectacular views of the Bay of Roses and Pyrenees. The apartment is bright and airy and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday including really comfy beds with cool cotton bedding. It offers every luxury convenience including heating/air conditioning. It overlooks a lovely communal pool and gardens. Situated in the village of Palau Saverdera (local shops and restaurants) . Palau Saverdera is 4km from the sea at Roses, 12km from Figueres (Salvador Dali Museum) and a 45 minute drive from Girona airport. The French border -30 minutes. Barcelona by train from Figueras in 90 minutes.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. We can also accept payment in Euros. Prices include all linen and towels included (not beach towels). Linen changed weekly on 2 week lets. Discounts available for lets longer than 2 weeks.
Changeover day
From May to September the changeover day is saturday. At other times of the year changeover day can be flexible.

Notes on accommodation
This property is ideal for families looking for peaceful place to stay while still being near to many interesting things to see and do. Access to the apartment is via walkways and ramps so is easy to access with buggies etc. The apartment is strictly no smoking.
Outside
The apartment looks out over olive groves and vineyards and has a panoramic uninterrupted view over the Gulf of Roses. It has 3 terraces, one accessed through sliding windows from the living room which has an outside table, chairs and a barbecue for al-fresco eating. A second terrace is accessed from the master bedroom through sliding windows and has 2 sun loungers - great to watch the sun set with a cool drink! The third terrace is at the back of the apartment and is ideal for drying laundry. There are 2 shared pools is set in gardens, the minimum depth is 1.3m.
Coast/Beach
5 mins drive to beaches of Roses, Sta Margarita & Empuriabrava - you can hire boats, jetski and windsurf. Within a 30 minute drive there are numerous beautiful beaches waiting to be discovered.
Golf
There are 3 excellent championship golf courses in the area. Perelada is only 20 minutes by car. Torremirona, just to the west of Figueras can be reached in 40 minutes and Pals, in about 1 hour.
Travel
Girona airport is 40 minutes away by car and Perpignan airport 70 minutes (both served by Ryanair) Le Harvre to Palau is approximately 700 miles and can be driven to easily in 2 days. A car is essential to discover the area.

Palau has several small well stocked shops a pharmacy, butcher and baker. There are a number of restaurants in the village serving delicious local produce. 'El Bulli' (3* Michelin Restaurant) is 15 mins away. Water park (open June to September) and F1/F2 Go-Karting 5 mins away. Open air markets in Roses, Empuriabrava and Figueres. Dali Museum in Figueres, Dalis house in port Lligat. Short drive to pretty village of Cadaques. Greek and Roman ruins of Empuries in L'Escala. Pretty Romanic village of Besalu in Garrotxa. City of Girona,etc. The French border is 20 minutes by car and Perpignan 45 mins.
Booking notes
Please email or phone to check availability and ask any questions you may have. One third of the hire cost is required at the time of booking with the balance being due 8 weeks before departure. A 'security deposit' of £100 is required when balance is paid, this will be refunded after the keys are returned and apartment checked. Cancellation refunds: Up to 8 weeks – no cancellation charge. 4-8 weeks – 50% of rate refunded. 2-4 weeks – 25% of rate refunded. Less than 2 weeks – no refund.
