Second floor 2 bedroom apartment (sleeps 4) with communal rooftop solarium and jacuzzis. The apartment is newly furnished and is fully air-conditioned. The beautiful Mar Menor and Mediterranean beaches are a short drive away and there are many golf courses in the area. You will be greeted on arrival and shown around the apartment. Murcia (San Javier) airport is only a 10 minute drive from the apartment. Alicante is approximately 40 minutes away.

Bedrooms can be adjusted to be either double or twin. Each room has large fitted wardrobes.
Bathrooms: Good sized bathroom with bath/shower over, wc. Non slip bath mat.
Kitchen: Cooker, hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, all utensils, spare light bulbs, torches and cleaning equipment.
Living Rooms: Lounge /dining room includes two sofas, dining table and chairs. Leading onto the balcony with patio furniture. Television and DVD player with DVDs. Maps, local area information, playing cards and a selection of books.
Other: Beach chairs, parasols and a cool box are available in the apartment to take to the beach.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
There is also a modest charge of 50 euros (£35 approx) paid locally to the key holder for the meet and greet service, cleaning, towels and linen. Beach towels are not included.

 

Notes on accommodation
The main living area and both bedrooms are air-conditioned which also provides heating as required. The apartment has its own allocated underground parking space, which is suitable for a small car.

Accessibility
There is a lift which services all floors in the building and provides access to the roof. The main entrance has one step and the lift is approximately 10m from the main entrance.

Outside
Lifts are installed in the building, which has a communal roof top solarium with jacuzzis (serviced from May to October).This is ideal for sunbathing. Also, the main balcony is a perfect afternoon sun trap. A restaurant is now open on the ground floor of the building, serving an excellent range of meals and tapas.

Coast/Beach
The beaches on the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean are approximately a 15 minute drive away. The Mar Menor has 28 kms of sandy beaches which include Los Alcazarez, San Pedro Del Pinatar, Santiago De La Ribera and Lo Pagan. The mud flats at Lo Pagan have excellent therapeutic benefits.

Golf
There are a number of golf courses within a 15 minute drive, including the newly completed Peraleja Golf, Hacienda Riquelme (Polaris World), Roda, Villa Martin, Las Ramblas, Campoamor, La Finca and La Manga. Further details can be provided on request.

Travel
The local airport is San Javier (Murcia) a 10 minute drive from the apartment. Alicante is 40 minutes away. To enjoy all the benefits of the area, car hire is essential. Many low cost airlines fly into Murcia including Ryanair, BMI, Easyjet, Monarch and Jet2.

Distances
The apartment is in the heart of the village in Sucina. The nearest town San Javier is a 10 minute drive / 12km. Murcia is approximately 30 minutes away. Torrevieja 30 minutes and Cartagena 20 minutes.
5 minutes to Hacienda Riquelme - Polaris World.

Further details
Sucina is a small, friendly Spanish village. Within a two minute walk, there are shops, banks, a tobacconist (stocking English newspapers and magazines) and a pharmacy. A restaurant is located on the ground floor of the apartment block and the food served is excellent. Two shops in the village stock a full selection of english food, drinks and newspapers. The local bakery is less than a 2 minute walk and there is an ATM machine opposite the main entrance to he apartment block.There is a health spa in the village which has a gymnasium, sauna, pool with jacuzzi jets and a relaxation area. A wide range of hair and beauty treatments are also offered. The village now has 2 internet cafes, both located within a 2 minute walk from the apartment.

All of the local bars / restaurants are very welcoming and are only a short walk from the apartment. In the village there is a well stocked supermarket which has an excellent delicatesen and fresh produce counter. There is a petrol station and doctors surgery in Sucina.

Sucina's central location enables its residents to visit historical places of interest such as Cartagena, Murcia and Lorca but also the Mar Menor and Mediterranean beaches are within easy reach.
