This large house is set in over 4 acres of olive trees, with a large 10x10m pool with stunning views. We have a tapas bar in our village and an excellent restaurant within a very short drive. We are only a short drive away from two very picturesque towns, both of which have all you will ever need for your stay. We provide Bed & Breakfast for guests. Located in the Andalucian Mountains with spectacular views. The only traffic you are likely to encounter is the shepherds with their goats, so it is the perfect relaxing holiday. It is also ideal for activity holidays though – with scenic walks, cliffs to climb, thousands of kilometres of tracks to explore on two wheels, fantastic scenery to paint, draw and photograph. Cyclists are provided with picturesque roads with breathtaking views.Cycle hire is available. Light refereshments can be purchased on request.

Changeover day
We have a flexible changeover day also we are flexible on arrival and departure times, where possible we would allow you to stay in your rooms until your departure, of course depending on other guests arriving.
Notes on accommodation
We have parking facilities for several cars. You will be able to purchase liquid refreshment and a variety of snacks should you wish to just sit around the pool all day and relax.
Accessibility
Our doors are wide enough for wheelchair access and we have two rooms which are ground level with ensuite facilities also on the same level. Very small step into the showers. However the pool is in an elevated location and maybe prove difficult for access.But please contact me to discuss your requirements and will do our best to accomadate your needs.
Outside
We are nestled in 4 acres of olive groves, we have a large pool 10m x 10m which is for the use of all our guests but is private to Casa Valero. We provide sun loungers and chairs for guests comfort.
This property is suitable for children, however with regard to the pool area, all children must be supervised by an adult for obvious safety reasons. We also have an outdoor chess board.Cycles to hire.Seating areas on the front and rear patios.
Coast/Beach
It will take you around an 1.5hr drive to either Malaga,Torremolinos or Salobrena should you wish to visit the coastal areas. Salobrena is relatively unspoilt from the tourists, many surprisingly reasonable fish restaurants.
Golf
There are golf courses in the Granada region should you wish to have a round or two.
Skiing
We are situated an hour from Sierra Nevada, so should anyone wishing to enjoy the delights of skiing during the day and resting in a peaceful surroundings during the evening, Casa Valero is the place to be.
Special interest holidays
We don't provide any painting courses, however guests interested in painting will find the views perfect to capture on canvas.
Cycling here is another way of seeing all the wonderful little villages and towns that surround us at Casa Valero.
Travel
We are closer to Granada Airport which is just some 40 mins away, which currently provides a very reasonable rate should you book early enough, however we are just 1.5hrs from Malaga airport where many of the airlines visit twice daily.Car hire is essential with plenty of hire car companies in and around both airports.
Distances
We have a very Spanish Tapas bar/restaurant around 2 miles away that serves the best food around. All at extremely reasonable prices. Please visit our website for further details on local places of interest.
Further details
We have a hospital in Montefrio and Alcala La Real so no worries for any emergencies that may arise. We have all facilities that you have in the UK in all the local towns. Post offices/banks and pharmacies. For those people interested in markets there are plenty available in the area most days of the week.
