A one bedroom, newly fully furnished and equipped apartment, situated in a quiet area and within a 5 minute walk of the village of Orba where you will find a good selection of restaurants, shops and bars etc. Large lounge/dining area/kitchen, double bedroom with walk-in wardrobe and en-suite with large shower, patio with garden furniture, secluded garden overlooking orange groves and use of the private swimming pool and heated Jacuzzi. The apartment has full central heating, satellite television, DVD and CD player. We also have a new travel cot, high chair, baby’s bath and changing mat for parents wishing to bring small babies. The apartment also benefits from its own private entrance. This tranquil setting is an ideal place to unwind and relax.

Changeover day
Weekly bookings are normally Saturday to Saturday, however flexibility is often possible. We ask guests to arrive after 2pm and depart by 11am in order that we may prepare for our next guests.

We also have a new travel cot, high chair, babies bath and changing mat for parents wishing to bring small babies. We have free view satalite television installed in the apartment ,however, if you wish to extend your programme viewing please bring your Sky card.

Accessibility
There are 3 steps from the pavement to the villa level and 14 steps down to the apartment.
Outside
Private and secluded patio with outside table, chairs and sun umbrella, garden with sun loungers - olive trees for shade. Use of owners pool (8m x 4m) which has Roman steps and lights, there is also a separate heated Jacuzzi and Cabana lounge area.
Coast/Beach
A 20 minute drive through beautiful orange groves will bring you to your closest beach in the cosmopolitan town of Denia, where the beach stretches for 10 miles to the north - here all types of busy water sports can be found. The blue flag beaches of Javea and Calpe are only approximately 25 minutes by car. The quaint fishing coastal village of Moraira is approximately 30 minutes by car. Benidorm has fine sandy beaches, numerous bars and a vibrant night life-Benidom is 40 minutes away by car.
Golf
There are three good golf courses close to Orba. La Sella (Denia) designed by Jose Maria Olazabel, an 18 hole Par 72 is approx 15 mins by car, Don Cayo (Altea) is an 18 hole Par 72 and approximately 20 minutes by car and Oliva Nova (Oliva) an 18 hole Par 72 approximately 40 minutes by car.
Skiing
The Ski resorts of Valdelinares and Javalambre in the province of Teruel, located 150 Kms. north-west of Valencia are a 2 hour drive away, where you will find a variaty of slopes together with two beginners slopes.
Special interest holidays
The apartment is ideally situated for walking holidays, close by are many paths and trails that will take you through this beautiful picturesque area. Whether you are an experienced hill walker or just like to take a leisurely stroll through the countryside,this area has it all.
Travel
Orba is centrally placed between Alicante and Valencia airports and 1 hour by car, we will email you directions. We will also provide you with a detailed local map of the area on your arrival. We would be pleased to arrange car hire from the airport if required.
Distances
Orba village and the nearest restaurant is only a 5 minute walk , the beautiful Jalon Valley with its many bodegas to please the wine enthusiast is 10 minutes by car. Approximately 45 minutes drive takes you to the historic mountain village of Guadalest, passing the Algar water falls on the way. A drive up to Benimaurell takes 25 minutes where you can explore stone and white washed village with breathtaking views to the Mediterranean.

The local village of Orba has 3 banks, 3 small supermarkets, bakery, 2 butchers, newsagent, tobacconist, chemist, opticians, 24 hour medical centre, petrol station, hairdressers, health and beauty spa and numerous bars and restuarants. You will find many local fiestas in Orba and the surrounding villages during the summer months. Nautical sports:- Denia's Yacht Club and Marina offer yacht charter, deep-sea fishing, diving & sailing courses. Hiking, Walking, Cycling:- The Vall de Laguar, Segaria mountain range and the Jalon and Rectoria valleys provide excellent walking, hiking or cycling routes. Absailing and canyon descent in the nearby Barranc del Infern.
Horse riding:- Several stables in a 15-20km. radius. Tennis:- Tennis courts situated in Javea.
Go-karting and Quads:- Circuits in Ondara, Moraira, Denia and Oliva.
Craftwork, flea & antique markets, bodegas:- Gata de Gorgos/Jalón/Denia.
Cultural activities:- Concerts, exhibitions, etc. take place all year round in the region.
Castle routes:- Vall de Gallinera / Xativa / Alt Vinalopo;
Guadalest & Algar falls; Elche's palm forest; (1 hour by car)
Altea:- Artisan crafts, boutiques, Music Palladium
Calpe:- Natural park Peñón de Ifach
Cheste:- International motorcycle racing circuit (120kms);
2007 America's Cup Race in Valencia: perfect location to attend this event (45 minutes by car).
