We invite you to come to stay with us, on the foothills of Montgo Natural Park we would like you to experience the Spain that we love. We are on the outskirts of old Javea town. The villa looks to the north up onto Montgo and to the south looks over the valley towards Spanish villages full of character and mountains in the distance. We cater for 1 to 10 people (no single supplement charged), specialising in families or groups we have 5 bedrooms (1 double, 2 family rooms, 2 twin), 3 ensuite bathrooms and 1 bathroom shared between 2 rooms. We can offer you the opportunity to have a holiday where we take the strain of driving and cooking leaving you free to relax and enjoy yourself. We are quite happy to take the backseat and let you occupy yourselves just providing a little advice and information when needed. This is your holiday - let us help you to make it what you want. Upstairs the master family room with king size bed and bunk beds, en suite full bathroom with shower over bath and dressing room.
Two rooms which share a bathroom, which has a bath with shower over, toilet and pedestal basin. Blue Room. Has two twin beds, large built in wardrobe, dressing table and bedside tables. Yellow room. Has one double bed, large built in wardrobe, desk, dressing table and bedside tables. Both rooms have ceiling fans, portable fans and doors to the glazed naya.
Downstairs we have two adjoining rooms, one of which has an external door. Both rooms have en suite bathrooms with showers. Portable fans are available in the rooms.
Family room. Has a double bed with single bed. Dressing table, chest of drawers, wardrobe and bedside cabinets. Very large walk in shower (wet room).
Green Room, two twin beds, a wardrobe and chest of drawers, en suite shower room.

 

Notes on accommodation
Upstairs you have access to the glazed naya with private bar which overlooks the solar heated swimming pool, stools at the bar or comfy chairs are available. Newspapers, novels and magazines for reading, some games are also available. A music centre for radio or CDs is also available.

We have a large Tosca stone fireplace in the lounge with Tosca arch to the dining room. You can use the TV which has Spanish channels or Sky free channels.

You may use the spacious kitchen for tea / coffee etc.

We have central heating with radiators in most rooms and of course the open fire in the lounge. The glazed naya has air conditioning.

Outside
From the lounge you walk out onto the BBQ terrace which looks over the pool and sun terrace. We have tables and chairs on both terraces as well as loungers with cushions round the pool. In the afternoon the palm trees offer some shade round the pool but we also have a number of umbrellas.
A further lower terrace is grassed with palm trees and some swings. This leads onto a small paved orchard with orange, lemon and pomegranate trees. Adjacent to which is the full sized tennis court.
There is a large front garden with plenty of room for parking and a two car carport with integrated workshop and utility room.

Coast/Beach
We are 15 minutes away from the coast which would get us to Javea Port and the beach. Javea Arenal is 20 minutes away, with its shallow bay, soft sand and lively promenade with shops, bars and restaurants.
Within 30 we could be at Calpe and another 10 minutes for Altea.
20 minutes to get to the long sandy beaches of Denia or Els Poblets and 40 minutes to Oliva.
In between all these beaches are wonderful little coves and inlets which are not accessible by car, but by either walking or boat.

Golf
La Sella golf course is 5 minutes away by car.
Javea Golf is 15 minutes away.
Oliva Nova Golf is 30 minutes away.

Special interest holidays
Tennis lessons/coaching with Darryl Smith who has been a tennis coach for 11 years. He is LTA qualified and a full member of the British Tennis Coaches Association. He started working at a large Tennis Club - Esporta - and then opened his own tennis club in Dorset which he ran very successfully for six years. Amongst his junior members were a number that he brought on from beginner to County standard. His own stepdaughter was a full time member of Dorset County Team.
At the same time as coaching 250 juniors in his own club he was the tennis coach for Holmes Place Health Club, where his clientèle consisted mainly of adults of all standards. He is happy coaching any standard of player, from total beginner to competent player. Darryl sold his club which enabled him to move to Spain and continue coaching in the better weather!

Travel
We are almost exactly between Alicante and Valencia airports. Travel time is around 1hr 30 minutes. We offer airport transfer and daily travel within the Javea area, to either the beach, activities or shops etc please ask us for costs.
If you wish to be a little independent we can arrange car hire for you, picking the car up at either the airport or at Estrella Lodge.

Further details
We have a private bar but there is also a bar within easy walking distance, another 3 plus 3 restaurants 5 minutes away by car.
Javea Port and Arenal have many restaurants, shops, supermarkets and banks etc.
If you wish to leave the villa and its amenities you can choose from a range of activities such as: scuba diving, water skiing, windsurfing, jet ski, snorkeling, sailing, speed boat hire, sea fishing, cycling, walking, climbing, quad biking, go-karting, horse riding, bird watching, flora and fauna, art, photography instruction, microlight flying instruction and of course golf.
Please let us know if you would like us to book any activities for you. Please also advise any special diet requirements you or any of your party may have.

Booking notes
20% deposit (non refundable) secures booking - remainder to be paid on arrival. Smoking is allowed, but at the discression of other guests, but not in bedrooms or kitchen please. Children are very welcome. No pets please as we have a 2 dogs who both love to be the center of attention. Activities (outside of the villa) and vehicle hire can be arranged on request at additional cost to be paid on arrival unless otherwise advised.
