Set in the beautiful town of Alhaurin De La Torre, within easy reach of Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Marbella, Puerto Banus, Gibraltar, Granada, Mijas, Ronda and Sierra Nervada this apartment makes the perfect base for your holiday. For those of you that enjoy golf, this apartment is perfectly situated for access to a number of golf courses which include Lauro Golf, Parador del Golf and Alhaurin Golf as well as others on the coast. This cottage also benefits from a tennis court. This cottage is very economical to rent and would just add to the perfect holiday being only 20 minutes from Malaga Airport. Notes on accommodation
The cottage is ideal for couples, but for an extra person a sofabed can be provided please ask for the cost.
For safety a smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detetctor are fitted.
Accessibility
The cottage is on one level but there are 2 steps to access it.
Outside
Apartment has its own sun terrace with table and chairs and sun blind. There is a 8m x 4m swimming pool (shared with owners) sun loungers and a sun umbrella is provided, and there is use of the tennis court, bring your own balls and raquets or we can provide.
Coast/Beach
The quiet beaches of Torremolinos (Los Alamos, La Colina and Playamar) are 20 minutes drive away or Marbella is 45 minutes drive away.
Golf
5 minutes from Lauro Golf, 20 minutes from Parador del Golf, 30 minutes from Alhaurin Golf and approx 45 minutes from courses on coast at Marbella.
Skiing
A drive of 1hour 45 minutes will bring you to the ski resorts of the Sierra Nevadas.
Travel
Malaga Airport is 20 minutes away and car hire is recommended.
Distances
5 minutes drive from Alhaurin de la Torre, it is within walking distance but it is uphill on the way back. There are numerous bars, restaurants, banks and shops in the town
15 minutes drive from the vibrant little town of Alhaurin el Grande.
25 minutes drive to Plaza Mayor Leisure complex (bars, restaurants, nightclubs, cinemas, amusements etc).
Further details
Alhaurin de la Torre is a good base for exploring Southern Andalucia, It is quiet and tranquil yet close to the airport and coast and well situated for trips to Granada, Mijas, Ronda and Nerja and the beautiful lakes and mountains at El Chorro.
