This traditional cottage has been modernized with simplicity and comfort in mind. Only a 5 mins drive or 15 mins stroll along the Rio Chico to the town of Orgiva, with its many bars restaurants, shops and banks, the cottage offers the perfect retreat in which to relax. Experience your own choice of the local food and wines on the shaded river stone terrace accompanied by the soothing flow of water from the irrigation stream that runs through the property. Explore the one acre organic garden of olive, avocado, orange, lemon, quince, and almond trees and watch the many birds that visit the huge chestnut tree near by. Swim in the crisp clear water of the 8x4m swimming pool. Enjoy the complete privacy of sunbathing around the pool or rest in the shaded hammock near by. If you can drag yourself away from all of this, Orgiva is just 1 hour from Granada and the Alhambra Palace, only 30 mins from the coast, and 1.5 hours drive to the ski resort.

Changeover day
Saturday depart 10.30am arrival after 3pm. Please note that arrivals after 10pm will incur a small charge (20 euros) payable on arrival. Sorry no arrival after 2am.

Bedrooms: Bedroom with queen size bed. Dressing room with wardrobe and en-suite. Feather duvet supplied in the winter, plus extra thick blanket.
Bathrooms: Bathroom with shower, basin and WC.
Kitchen: Kitchen living room, gas hob, electric cooker, electric kettle, fridge with ice compartment.
Utility Room: Washing machine provided outside.
Living Rooms: Single sofa bed. , table and 4 chairs and easy chair. wood burning stove/fire. Please note that the cottage is very cosy in the winter months when the stove is lit.
Other: Fire wood is not included but can be purchased.

Linen and towels provided on arrival, please bring own towels for beach and pool.

Large private organic garden. Secluded swimming pool 8x4m for exclusive use. Sun loungers and umbrellas, hammock, large wooden table on shaded terrace with chairs and BBQ. Parking 3 metres from front door. The cottage is south facing and the terrace in summer is shaded by an established grape vine and in winter enjoys the most of the maximum of the warming winter sun.

Skiing
Solynieve ski resort (December-April) 1 hour 20 mins.

Travel
Malaga Airport 1.30 hours drive Granada Airport 1 hour drive. Hire of car recommended.

Booking notes
A deposit of 50% is required with booking. The balance to be paid 4 weeks before arrival. If booking is less than 3 weeks before arrival, the full amount is payable at time of booking. Pay by personal cheque, bank transfer or credit card or paypal.
