Colmenar is set in the heart of the Montes de Malaga, a typical Spanish village only 30/40 minutes drive to the coast. It is a busy village with many shops, bars and restaurants. Lots of beautiful walks and amazing scenery.

We offer a 10% on long term lets over 4 weeks. We will rent on a nightly basis of 60 euros per night

Changeover day
Saturday to Saturday is prefered, but flexible.

Utility Room: Washing machine outside in covered area.
Living Rooms: Spacious living/dining room with TV, DVD, compact music centre and single bed/sofa. Sky TV newly installed.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen provided although towels not to be taken out of the apartment. Changed and cleaned weekly unless otherwise requested.

 

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is on one level from the street so ideal for children or elderly. There is a cot available on request.

Accessibility
The apartment is on the flat from the street and there are no stairs inside the apartment, although it is not wheelchair access through the front door it is possible for a wheelchair user with some mobility.

Private patio area to the rear of the property with table and chairs.

Coast/Beach
The coast is 30/40min drive From Malaga to Torre del Mar. All beaches are very clean and boast many bars and restaurants.

Golf
Malaga region is very well provided for the golfer. Antequerra has a new state of the art golf course just 40 min drive.
There are 2 golf courses, Braviera and Anoreta Golf within 35 min drive and the Parador golf course at Malaga. Many golf courses on the other side of Malaga about 45 min to 60 mins.

Skiing
Skiing at Sierra Nevada mountains is about 1hr and 30 mins drive in season.

Travel
Malaga airport is 30 min drive. We would recommend car hire. Granada airport is approx 45mins -1hour drive, a small airport but very quick arrivals and departures with large car park.

Distances
Within a 30km radius are many typical Spanish villages and towns. Lake Vinuela is an idyllic spot to walk, BBQ or picnic. El Torcal is one of the oldest Rock formations in the world and you can watch varieties of eagles flying about. Colmenar is like a wheel hub in any direction there are wonderful places of interest all within 1-2 hours. eg Cordoba, Granada, Seville and more.

Further details
Colmenar has butchers bakers and fishmongers as well as many grocery stores. There is an internet cafe, 2 banks, post office and seasonal swimming baths (open July and August). There are also bars/restaurants all serving traditional fayre at extremely good prices.

On booking 75 euros deposit is asked for with the remainder due 28 days before arrival. More details will be given at the time of booking.

Hello everyone I am British and have been living in Spain for 6 years now however I spent years holidaying here and feel I can offer the right accomodation. I live with my partner Murray and our dogs and cats,we love walking in the surrounding countryside and my hobbies are cooking,reading and designing knitwear for 0-5 year olds.I run a market stall for the knitwear twice a week I enjoy meeting people and showing them our stunning village and all it has to offere to share,so give us the chance to share with you.
