This 1-bedroomed let with swimming pool is situated at the end of a hamlet and is located within the Ribeira Sacra wine growing region close to the panoramic vista of the Rio Sil at Cadeiras, 10 mins drive from the neighbouring village of Sober and 15 mins drive from the historic town of Monforte de Lemos. It overlooks an ample garden with various fruit and nut trees, flowers, hammocks, sun loungers, enclosed fish pond and provides plenty of play area for young children. Will suit a couple or family with 1 or 2 young children. There is also a barbecue area and an area for sunbathing or just chilling out. There is also an enclosed tiled and gravelled private courtyard for dining al fresco.

Changeover day is flexible. Check out time is 10.00am. Check in time is 5pm. Where possible we shall accommodate check in time earlier.

| Living Rooms: | Kitchen/diner and bedroom overlook the tranquil garden with swimming pool, barbeque and relaxation areas. The kitchen/diner also leads out onto a small private patio area equipped with table, chairs and umbrella for meals/barbeques al fresco. |

Clean towels and linens supplied weekly. Washing line available. Pool towels not provided. We request that guests do not use bathroom towels at the pool. |
Notes on accommodation
The accommodation is self catering and suitable for children as it has a fenced fish pond and plenty of play area. Children must be supervised by parents at all times especially around the pool which is 1.5m deep at both ends. La Bodega is situated in a very friendly quiet village amongst the Spanish community, whose main livelihood is farming and wine making as most locals own grapevines. The grape picking usually takes place in September. The fiesta in Pinol is held in September too and is an annual event when locals meet to talk and dance to local music. La Bodega is fully centrally heated for the winter and is refreshingly cool in the summer.

Outside
The property looks out onto the large garden with private swimming pool, sunloungers and hammocks and a shaded area for relaxing. There is also a BBQ area and a fenced fish pond.
Coast/Beach
There are several, clean, sandy beaches with restaurants at Vigo and Pontevedra about one and a half hour's drive.
There is a river beach about half an hour's drive away at Coba. There are two outdoor swimming pools and riverside swimming available in Monforte de Lemos.
Golf
Nearby there is an 18 hole golf course with excellent facilities and driving range at Ferreira and another 9 hole golf course in Monforte de Lemos. There are other golf courses in Ourense about 35 minutes away. Please contact owner for further details.

Airports: Santiago de Compostela 120km Ryanair. Vigo 140km Iberia (via Madrid). Porto (Northern Portugal) 220km Ryanair and British Airways. Valladolid 340km Ryanair. A Coruna 200km Clickair Distances are approx. Car hire essential. Ferry Port: Santander (approx 5 hour drive).

Swimming, golf, walking, fishing (you will need a licence), wine trail, bird watching, painting, sight-seeing, cycling or just simply chilling out. For other activities e.g. rafting, horse riding, kayaking, quad bikes or paintball please contact owner. Portugal (inland border) is approx 75 mins away. Ourense: outdoor hot water spa (yes even in summer) and free outdoor swimming pool.
Local wine feria held annually in neighbouring village of Sober with wine tasting. Twice monthly local market held in the village with local produce. The fiesta of Pinol is held in September. Grape picking usually takes place towards the end of September but this depends on the weather. The local village fiesta is usually held from 7-9 September.
