Finca del Cielo is a lovely old farmhouse restored and divided into two cottages to include the comforts of modern day living. Situated at the top of a winding track it enjoys stunning panoramic views over and around the embalse of Iznajar. Set on the edge of the Sierra Subetica, it is an ideal location for those seeking peace and tranquility and as a base from which to discover the many delights of Andalucia. Although the farmhouse can also be rented as a whole for up to 9 people (go to spainholiday.com property reference 3703), parties of up to 4 guests simply wishing to rent the cottage will enjoy their own private swimming pool together with two further south facing terraces. Below the farmhouse is a boules court. The cottage itself has two bedrooms, a shower room with toilet and wash hand basin, a kitchen/dining area and a lounge. The accommodation is very comfortable and well arranged. The small town of Iznajar is close by, and has good access to the major highway networks.

Notes on prices
Prices in Pounds Sterling available upon request. Minimum stay is 4 nights. For the whole farmhouse (4 bedrooms) prices range from 850 euros per week during mid season to 1150 euros per week in the high season.
Changeover day
Arrival/departure dates flexible. Check in after 4 pm on day of arrival, check out by 11 am on day of departure.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | The master bedroom, which overlooks the swimming pool, has a large double bed. The second bedroom has twin beds (can be converted to a double). Each bedroom is simply but comfortably furnished with a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and bedside table lamps. |

| Kitchen: | The kitchen comes with a small dining area with seating for 4 people and is equipped with a fridge freezer, a 4-ring gas hob and a microwave oven/grill. The main entrance leads out to the pool, while a second door off the kitchen leads out to the terraces |
| Living Rooms: | The lounge is comfortably furnished with two sofas, satellite TV, a DVD player and a portable CD player. Room fans are provided throughout the cottage. Holidy reading books, board and card games are provided for guests´use. |
| Other: | The 9mx4m pool with its terrace, 6 pool loungers and shaded dining area, is exclusively for cottage guests use. There are two further private south facing terraces; a sun terrace overlooking the garden and an upper breakfast terrace with covered portico. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Bed linen, bath towels and pool towels are provided and are changed weekly. A machine laundry service can be provided for a small fee to guests staying longer than 7 nights. |

Outside
The 9m by 4m pool with its terrace, 6 pool loungers and shaded dining area, is exclusively for cottage guests use. The pool´s depth in the shallow end is around 80cm rising to 2 meters in the deep end. Thanks to the solar thermal pool cover swimming should be comfortable from as early as later April through to mid October.
In addition there are two further private south facing terraces; a sun terrace overlooking the garden and offering fabulous views towards the village of Iznajar and its castle, and an upper breakfast terrace with covered portico.
Adjacent to the garden is a boules court. For those of you who enjoy the game, boules are provided, but please retrieve any errant ball that rolls out of court and down the hillside! And for anybody who enjoys outdoor barbecues, a large gas barbecue is also provided.
There is a car parking area behind the cottage.
Coast/Beach
Lakeside beach is 10 minutes from the finca where you can hire dinghies, canoes and pedaloes.
The beaches on the Costa del Sol are an hour away.
Golf
40 minutes to the spectacular 18 hole golf course at Antequera.
Skiing
An hour and a half to the ski slopes at the Sierra Nevada.
Special interest holidays
1/2 day fishing trips can be easily arranged for up to 3 anglers per trip. Rods, bait and guide provided.
Travel
Granada airport - 45 minutes
Malaga airport - 55 minutes
Car hire is essential.
Distances
The finca is ideally situated in central Andalucia and there are many places of interest within easy reach by car.
Local town of Iznajar - 6 minutes.
Antequera - 35 minutes.
Granada and the Alhambra - 1 hour.
Cordoba - 75 minutes.
Seville - under 2 hours.
Costa del Sol - 1 hour.
Further details
Iznajar, a picturesque typically Andalucian town commanding a stunning hilltop position, has many local bars, cafes, grocery shops, butchers and banks.
Antequera is a great historic town and has a large shopping complex with hypermarket.
There are lots of local weekly markets in the nearby towns and villages.
Booking notes
200€ deposit at time of booking confirmation. Balance due 28 days prior to arrival. We ask for a refundable security deposit of 200€ be paid upon arrival. All being well this deposit is returned in full at the time of guest departure.
