Both properties are available either independently or together, making this location ideal for larger parties or families who wish to holiday together. Ideal touring spot for all seasons. 35 mins from Granada and 1 hour from Malaga and coast. Alhambra, Sierra Nevada, Lake Iznajar, Alpujarras all easy destinations. Private grounds with tennis court,5 a side football pitch, basketball, large pool, trampoline, swing set, private BBQ areas and parking.We also have 2 ponies. 5 km from historical town of Montefrio which has good selection of bars, restaurants, shops and sightseeing. Lots to see and do, lots of sunshine. Safe and fun for kids of all ages.

Both properties have central heating and wood burning fireplaces for winter breaks. Highly suitable for children of all ages, very safe. We can offer great deals throughout the Winter. Sierra Nevada ski resort is one hours drive away.

Landscaped gardens with selection of tropical plants. 2 barbeque areas with terraces. Large tennis court, 5 a side football pitch and basketball (shared between Villa and Cottage). Private parking. Large swimming pool (shared by Villa and Cottage) plus paddling pool in shaded area. Trampoline, 2 swings, fruit trees, country vegetable patch, breathtaking views. On-site ponies.
Coast/Beach
Nearest beach is Malaga, approximately 1 hours drive, also nearby Nerja, Almunecar, Motril, Salobrena.
Skiing
Granada ski resort of Sierra Nevada is 55 mins drive from houses. Both houses have central heating and wood burning open fireplaces so ideal for winter breaks. We can offer good deals throughout Winter period.
Travel
Malaga airport is 1 hours drive and Granada airport is 45 mins drive.
Distances
Montefrio is nearest village (5km) drive and Granada (35 minutes). Seville, Cordoba, Antequera, Alpujarras and Sierra Nevada are all easily driveable distances.
Further details
Montefrio is on the Route of Washington Irving, which is the historical road that links Malaga, Seville and Granada and has many fascinating walks and is popular with cyclists worldwide. There is also a wealth of landscapes which have a variety of birds and wild flowers for nature enthusiasts. The town itself has a good selection of bars and restaurants and 2 swing parks. There is also a local lido with restaurant for a fun day locally. The house is ideally situated near to town for local supermarkets and banks and the local 24 hour clinic is a 5 minute drive.
Booking notes
Deposit of 40% is required for reservation. Full payment 60 days prior to start of holiday. Last minute bookings need to pay full amount on day of arrival.Personal holiday insurance is a prerequisite when staying at the Vill and Casa.

We had a fantastic time staying in Casa Montefrio, the villa was perfect and in a spectacular location. Although the description and pictures are good the reality is so much better. Swimming in the pool whilst looking at the rolling hills and olive groves was absolutely beautiful. We utilised the tennis court too. A perfect location to enjoy a part of Spain Burgess Family 2007
