This fabulously spacious one bedroom ground floor apartment is situated in the pretty seaside village of Villaricos. The apartment is just a short stroll from the beaches, marinas, bars and restaurants. For your comfort, the apartment is very well equipped, with all modern appliances, including English Satellite TV. The complex has 2 lovely pools and gorgeous roof terraces with spectacular sea and mountain views. The nearby towns of Mojacar, Vera and Garrucha are just a short drive away. There is so much to see in this beautiful area of Spain, therefore we are happy to send you more great photographs and details of the apartment, views and surrounding areas on request. Prices shown are for the property per week for 2 persons in UK Pounds. Discounts are available on request for long lets. Our prices are very reasonable and very competitive. We have reduced all our prices for 2011 and 2012. There is still time to take advantage of our low low prices for selected weeks all throughout the year. These are now on offer at less than 2006 prices. If you really do want that bargain holiday in the sun then look no further. Very small supplement for more than 2 persons.

Changeover day
Arrival and departure times are flexible depending on availability. Exact times can be agreed when enquiring about availability. There is a £10 supplement for guests arrriving after 10.00pm.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with twin beds, Large wardrobes, stylish dressing table and bedside cabinets. Plenty of drawer and cupboard space. There is also a large ceiling fan for your comfort.
Bathrooms: Tiled bathroom, with full sized bath, shower, WC and Wash hand basin set in pretty vanity unit with illuminated mirror above.
Kitchen: The Kitchen is very well equipped with, Oven and Ceramic Hob, Microwave, Washing Machine, Toaster, Kettle, Large Fridge/Freezer and a wide selection of cooking utensils. Everything you could need for eating in.
Living Rooms: The spacious lounge/dining room comes complete with sofa and armchair, dining table and 4 chairs, glasses cabinet, English satellite TV, video, DVD player, hi-fi system. The whole apartment has tasteful soft furnishings.
Other: Internal Hallway with large linen storage cupboard. Stairs immediately outside the apartment lead to 2 of the roof terraces.
Cleaning/towels/

Towels and linen are included. Additional cleaning and linen change can be arranged, mid-let, at a small extra cost.

 

Notes on accommodation
This tasteful ground floor apartment is close to the front entrance and therefore gives easier access for the elderly. However, there are a few steps up to the front gate so it is therefore not suitable for wheelchair access. Cars can be parked at the front entrance or at the rear private entrance. This secure gated complex has an intercom and door release system, making it very safe. The double sofa bed is suitable for an adult. The apartment and complex is not suitable for children.

Accessibility
The apartment is on the ground floor. There are a small number of steps up to the front entrance so wheelchair access is difficult. However, handrails have been installed to the steps making it very accessible for those with some walking difficulties. The apartment is not suitable for small children.

Outside
The complex has a lovely swimming pool set in well maintained mature gardens. There are several communal roof terraces with 360 degree views and sun loungers are available free for all guests.

Coast/Beach
The apartment is genuinely only a few minutes walk from the beaches and marinas. There is a lovely Paseo (promenade) which runs the length of the village and connects the two new marinas.
The paseo is so beautiful to stroll along in the evenings.A stroll by the Med in the evenings does take alot of beating! Within a short driving distance are more sandy beaches and coves which are excellent for walks and picnics.

Golf
For the golf enthusiast there are plenty of golf courses in the area including the excellent Desert Springs course, which is only 10 minutes drive away. A great day out for all ages is the Mini - Hollywood at Tabernas. It is only an hours drive and well worth it. It is a western town with a mock action scene. There is also a fabulous Zoo Park included and don’t forget to take you swimwear as there is also a great pool to cool down. It really is a good day out. In the same area is the Cinema Studio, again with a western town. The area is renowned for the filming of the Spaghetti Western movies.

Travel
The nearest airport, Almeria is approx 60 mins away. Murcia is approx 1 hour and 20 mins, ( The new section of motorway is now open and saves lots of time, note that it is a toll road). Alicante is approx 2 hours away. Although there is everything you need in the village, car hire is recommended to see and explore the region.

Distances
The beaches of Villaricos are literally only a 2 minute walk from the apartment. The 2 marinas are only 2 minutes away. You can see the mediterranean sea from the apartment. Mojacar is a popular resort and is 15 minutes drive. The towns of Vera and Garrucha are only 10 minutes. A must see for everyone is the Alhambra Palace in Granada. It is about 2 hours drive but well worth the journey. Also worth a visit is the Cabo De Gata Nature Reserve, about 30 minutes away by car.

Further details
This apartment is the ideal place to stay, situated mid- way between Almeria and The Costa Calida for anyone who is looking along this coastline to purchase a property of their own. There is a good choice of bars and restaurants. The Aqua park is great for a day out and is only 10 minutes drive. Close by are sports facilities such as tennis, horse riding and fishing. Within the village are 2 scuba diving schools.

Not many people are aware that Almeria Province is mainland Europes warmest and sunniest region, with over 3000 hours of sunshine a year. This makes it perfect for all year round breaks. We are constantly improving the facilities on offer in the apartment to make it more comfortable and appealing for our guests. We are sure you will find it very homely. The beaches, sea front , bars and restaurants are literally only a couple of minutes walk away making it easy to relax and enjoy this unique village. The complex itself is very special. It is built to a very high standard and will give you the feeling that you are staying in a true Andalucian village.

A £50 deposit secures the apartment for your chosen dates with the balance payable 6 weeks prior to your holiday.
Special rates are available for long lets, (Please enquire). The prices quoted are for 2 persons for 7 nights. There is a small supplemental charge for 3 persons due to extra laundry cleaning. The prices quoted are very reasonable and competitive especially with the quality of the apartment. We also have some special rates for selected weeks. Just ask for further information.

It is in a lovely village and we enjoy it so much, we hope that you do also.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
The village of Villaricos captured our hearts as soon as we entered and saw the sea front. It is so magical. A home that is a short stroll from the sea is everyone's dream and we have been lucky enough to realise this. It is only a small village by the sea but it has so much to offer, it has views, restaurants, friendly bars, internet cafes. For the more adventurous, the area of Almeria is steeped in History and beautiful landscapes. Within a short drive you have the towns of Mojacar and Garrucha. Inland, the scenery is breathtaking, mountains, valleys ,fruit trees. It is captivating. Yet it is one of the parts of Spain that remains relatively unspoiled by mass tourism.

Unique benefits of the property
Our apartment is in the heart of the little village of Villaricos, You have sea views from the window and breathtaking views from the roof terrace. It is so close to the sea you can almost taste it. Yet you have shops and bars situated the perfect distance away. Not to far to be a long work, yet far enough not to cause a nuisance. Unlike most other properties, ours is close to the sea, and it genuinely is close to the sea, not a "five minute drive away" or a "20 minute walk". Plus it is priced at a realistic price for today's holiday maker looking for a bargain. This IS a real bargain, the facilities we offer and the location it is in, make this the perfect getaway at the perfect price.
