The beach is a short walk away, a short drives take you to historic towns with good shopping, fantastic restaurants and entertainments for all ages.

Changeover day
Usually arrivals from 4pm Saturdays, and departures by 10am Saturdays. Flexibility possible.

Property is cleaned before and after every stay. Towels and linen can be hired from our agents in Pals. Hire charges are payable directly to them. |
Notes on accommodation
This is a very comfortable apartment, with a very social atmosphere. The kitchen and dining room are open plan, and the balcony is like an extension of the living room.
Extra electric heater provided. There is a cool airflow due to having balconies at the front and back.
Outside
The communal gardens are maintained to a very high standard all year round. They are full of palm trees, fountains, and lush green lawns. The smaller pool is shallower and ideal for smaller children. You can walk out from the grounds into the bird sanctuary. The gardens are beautifully lit at night.
Coast/Beach
The beach at Pals, 10 mins walk from the apartment is sandy, long and never over crowded and has seafront restaurants. There is a nudist beach in the coves at the end of Pals beach. The coastal path links endless coves and beaches. Other popular beaches all within 10 or 15 mins drive, include Sa Punta, Sa Riera, Tamariu and Aiguablava.
Golf
There are two excellent local golf courses, the nearest is 5 mins walk away. More information from the websites, www.golfplatjadepals.com (this is the oldest golf course on the Costa Brava) and www.golfserresdepals.com.
Skiing
Skiing in the Spanish Pyrenees and Andorra is 90 mins drive away. Popular resorts include La Molina and the Secret Valley of Nuria. The Pyrenees are of course, also full of spa resorts and beautiful for riding and walking excursions.
Travel
Nearest Airport is Gerona 45 mins drive. Bacelona Airport 2 hrs drive. We would recommend having one's own transport in order to be able to move freely around the area and fully enjoy the countryside, villages, cities and coast.
Distances
The medieval cobbled streets of Pals have been meticulously restored and are full of cafes, restaurants and gift shops (5 mins drive). Begur is another historic town (10 mins drive), full of lovely but inexpensive restaurants and original shops. You can leave the car at Flaca station (30 mins drive) and take a day return train ticket to Barcelona. Figueras and Cadaques are famous for the home and museum of Salvador Dali (45 mins drive).
Further details
Local supermarkets are plentiful. Tennis club (10 mins walk away), a great outdoor nightclub in Begur, horse riding is also available there. There is a dance festival in Begur every summer, go-carting and fun fairs can be found in Toroella de Mongris (10 mins drive), a major water park at Playa de Aro (20 mins drive). A small zoo at Regencos (5 mins drive), lots of local markets best to ask for details at the Pals tourist information centre.
Booking notes
Bookings are secured by a 50% deposit. The balance needs to be paid at least a month in advance. Payment can be by cheque, although most people make a bank transfer. We also ask for a £50 / week fully-refundable breakage deposit (paid along with final 50%).
