Woodburning stove and electric radiators for heating in winter. Fenced off pool making it especially suitable for small children. Lots of toys! We can sell you our organic home grown products.

Outside
Private filtered, fenced off, swimming pool (8x4m) with sun loungers. Terrace with table and chairs. BBQ, spacious lawn for playing or building fires at night (not allowed in dry season!).
Coast/Beach
Nearest beaches, such as Marbella, within an hour by car.
Beautiful and unspoiled Costa de la Luz between 2 and 3 hours.
Travel
Malaga, Seville and Jerez airport all at 1,5 hour.
Hired car recommended. The last half km to the house is via newly paved track, where the final descending slope is steep, but accessible to all cars.
Distances
Ronda at 8km, nearest village at walking distance 2km. Very centrally located for day trips to Seville 90 mins. Granada 90 mins, Cordoba2 hrs or Malaga 90 mins.
Further details
Nearby village of Arriate provides banks, small supermarkets and other shopping facilities, restaurant and splendid tapas bars. Ronda, just 8km away, has both beauty and history. An inspiration to many, it is one of the most visited towns in Andalucía. The Spanish/Dutch owners, Francisco and Lies, live just 100 metres away, but privacy is guaranteed. Francisco is a native of Ronda and knows the countryside and the Serrania very well. Lies came from Holland in 1995, and three years later they had their son, Santiago. The family try to live as self-sufficiently as possible. Francisco is an organic farmer and they have an organic vegetable garden, while Lies sells their produce and homemade jams to hotels and on local markets. Directly from home there is a lot of good walking along unpaved roads or further off the beaten track. And for those who prefer the peace and quiet, there is a wide range of books to pick from the shelves. Or simply enjoy the silence and the (many) birds!
