Lovely one bedroom chalet. For a romantic inexpensive getaway this hand crafted 1 bedroom chalet has everything you need. One double bedroom, shower room, lounge with well equipped kitchenette and sun veranda. It is nestled in a garden of olive, almond and orange trees, surrounded by bamboo with use of large dip pool, cooling off on those hot summer days, or midnight dip!. Relax to the jingling bells of the goats grazing up the mountain, and take a 5 minute stroll into Orgiva town where you will find a variety of bars and restaurants. Access and parking are down a dirt track next to the river bed or forget about a car and get a airport transfer arranged by the owner Rebecca. This holiday is for people who want to experience the real, authentic Spain , those who enjoy nature but be close to town. Orgiva is just 1:30 hours drive from the ski resort, 1 hour from Granada and the Alhambra Palace and only 30 mins from the coast and white washed moorish villages. All reachable by bus!

Travel
A hire car is recommended and can be hired from Malaga or Granada Airport. A bus can be taken from Malaga to Granada where you can change buses to Orgiva, running every hour. Also airport transfer can be arranged to pick you up for the price 55 euros from Granada Airport and 85 euros from Malaga airport, email or ring Rebecca to book.Also available to hire a car from Orgiva, by week or day, for prices email Rebecca.
Further details
If driving to Orgiva (Michelin Map 446) head east along the N340, following the signs for Nerja and Motril (the N323). Head for Granada, turn right at Velez de Benaudalla and take the A346 to Orgiva. Proceed through the town to the location of the Hotel Mirasol (phone Rebecca and she will meet you and escort you to the chalet).
The English speaking owner will give you a warm welcome and advise you on any local information.
Booking notes
On booking a non-refundable deposit of 25% per week, with full balance payable 6 weeks in advance. Payment in pounds either through my UK bank. Cancellation will be accepted at no extra charge if received by the owner more than 6 weeks before the commencement date of your holiday, less deposit.
